    Thank you for your message.  Rest assured, your order is not lost.  It is here and in process.  The Economy tier is taking quite a long time right now.  We are currently shipping out invoices that were logged in around the end of July for this tier.  Yours was logged in early August so it shouldn't be too much longer. We are currently experiencing extremely high submission volumes and are working hard to complete submissions as quickly as possible while ensuring the quality of our services.  We apologize for any delays or inconvenience.

    Thank you for your message.  I'm not sure exactly what you mean when you say your book was restored without your consent.  CGC did not perform restoration on your book, we noted that there was restoration discovered when our graders examined it.  If our graders discover any sort of restoration, we will notate it and the book will receive a restored label. 

    Regarding your other book, are you saying that you believe it should have a pedigree listed?  I don't see that you requested one on your packing slip.  Or, do you mean that it received a pedigree label in error?  Please clarify and we can check into that further for you.

    Thank you for your message.  It does appear that your invoice is a little past due.   I will send a message down to have someone locate and rush the order for you.  Please note, however, that it can take some time to locate an invoice due to the extremely high volume of submissions we have at the moment.     Hi, the order numbers are listed on your packing slip.  You should have received an email back when you originally completed the order that would have contained that information.  But it is the submission number that you will need to check the order status online.  Thanks!

    Thank you for your message. It will depend on the dimensions of the book.  If the book fits within these dimensions then it would be considered a comic:  

    • 10-1/2” tall
    • 7-5/8” wide
    • 1/4” thick

    If it is larger than those dimensions it would be classified as a Magazine.  The largest size magazine we can do would be:

     

    • 11-1/2” tall
    • 8-7/8” wide
    • 1/2” thick

    Thank you for your email.  I am sorry about that.  Yes, sometimes on rare occasions, the graders could miss something.  It doesn't happen very often since the book goes through more than one grader during the grading process.  Unfortunately, it looks like in this case the graders did miss that the book was originally trimmed.  Trimming is one defect that cannot be fixed or corrected so once it is determined that a book is trimmed and given a restored label, it would not be able to receive a Universal label.

  9. Hello, thank you for your message and your interest in CGC! The stickers put into the kits are random so, unfortunately, we don't have a specific list we can provide to you. I am sorry about that.  I will certainly pass your suggestion along to management but I don't know that they would ever offer the grade stickers for sale individually.

Signed prints can be encapsulated although we do not give them a regular grade as we would a comic book.  You can find out more here: CGC To Authenticate Prints for Signature Series</ | CGC (cgccomics.com)  Signed prints would be treated as any other signature series item and the signature must be witnessed in order for us to encapsulate it.  These are generally done at shows and events where CGC or an authorized facilitator would have a witness available.

    Thank you for your message.  I'm not sure what you mean by resubmitting.  Are you wanting to send a book back just for a reholder and have it put into a new holder or are you looking to have your book regraded?  If you want it regraded, you would submit it just as you would a raw book by selecting grading as your service and selecting a tier.  The only difference would be that you would enter the certification number in the system and it will populate the book information.  But regular grading fees would apply in this case. 

    If you are submitting just for a reholder then you will select the Reholder service instead of grading.

Hello, thank you for your message. Invoices stay on the main Submission Tracking page for 8 months.  After that, you can locate the specific invoice information by entering the submission number in the search bar on the submission tracking page.  Please note, if your submission is still with CCS for pressing, it will be listed as "received" and the line items will not appear until it moves to CGC for grading.

    We are showing all of these invoices are currently still with CCS pressing.  Right now, regular pressing is running about 256 business days.  CGC Services & Fees | CGC (cgccomics.com) These invoices should be moving over to CGC for grading in the next few weeks.  You will receive an email once they move to the CGC side.

    Thank you for your message.  Only authorized CGC dealers are permitted to set up appointments to physically drop off or pick up submissions.  Collector's Society members are not permitted to come into the office, even for private signings.  Most of the submissions for private signings are mailed in.  If you are a paid member of our Collector's Society, you would have to mail your submission in or either have an authorized dealer bring it in for you.  You could also submit to us at any show CGC may be attending.
