As someone that's been out of work for 4.5 months, I would sympathize with the loss of a job. I would think it 'reasonable' if the job loss was totally unexpected. If the buyer had an idea he or she would be laid off prior to purchase that wouldn't qualify in my book (though I'm not certain how one could ascertain that). I can see your side as well though. Kind of a tough situation for both parties.

I've cracked open a few slabs of low to mid grade stuff, but I'm leaving the books in the inner well (I did this mostly for shipping purposes as the title in question isn't a huge draw for most people).

Not at all - look at Deathlok and Timulty - Tim has seriously thick skin to put up with that absolutely insane harassment for as long as he did. These sociopaths often just pick someone out and troll them, for whatever reason. Oh the irony... What? I am the furthest from a troll/stalker as you can get. I treat everyone equally, depending on what comes out of your pie-hole, and anyone can attest to this. I may be mean sometimes, but I'm equal-opportunity mean. You stalk me like no tomorrow!
