  1. Looks like Mad Max Furiosa are going for double cover price already. I ordered about 5 of them at $4 a pop about a month ago and they just shipped.

Cool book for Charlize Theron SS. In my book she's one of the most beautiful women, ever! :luhv:

  2. NEW YORK SPECIAL EDITION MARKET REPORT:

This past weekend I set up at Special Edition: NYC, & I thought it was a very "special" show, indeed. The show is a smaller version of NYCC focusing on comic book culture instead of entertainment industry. It drew a very healthy "comic" crowd. I set up with discount trades & modern comics mostly under $10

:hi: Larry, it was cool hanging out at your booth for a bit and shooting the breeze.

I've really enjoyed SENYC these past two years, because it really is all about comic book culture without the extra umph of the entertainment & video games industries.

I'll see you again at NYCC!

  3. My hope is that they launch only when the next arc is complete. I do like Nate's art and I hope he's still on the book. But if you can't do monthly then don't do monthly and would be happy to have large breaks between arcs as long as the actual arc comes out on time.

maybe Nate is ok now that the Boston bomber has been given the death penalty. Though not quite sure I bought most of his supposed anxieties.

Someone very close to me suffers from this and I can tell you that people who suffer from anxiety disorders which can lead to panic attacks and depression have it tough for many reasons I won't go into here. The disease can change the person drastically, so I wouldn't be too quick to dismiss his illness as the lone reason for him being unable to work on the book.

I do hope Nate's well now and that the book will continue this year, because it was a really good read.
