  1. Anyone thinking about picking up one of the coloured variations? If so... why? The B&W makes the most sense to me, but there must've been intent for them to produce it. Maybe a younger audience who needs the colour to familiarize with the character?

I think your assessment is correct. They already have the mold and the production going so they probably figure they may as well broaden the audience appeal with colorized versions. I personally would only have interest in the B&W, which I admit looks great.

I want to get the deluxe version ($100), limited to 300 pieces, but it's not available on the site.

Do any of you guys know if it was up and sold out or hasn't been offered for sale yet?

  2. I've had zero investment in this title, but heard/read good things about it, so I downloaded issue #1 after it was announced that it's free on Comixology. Now I wanna read more and the art being so beautiful is an added incentive to download the rest of the issues.

I initially wanted Ellen's mom to die, but after she saved Ellen I was like, ok, maybe she's not that annoying and then a few panels later... CHOMP! Mommy is turned into an h'orderve for the giant beasty and I was briefly shocked, but that immediately turned to... NIIIIICE!!!

    lol

  3. got mine in today a day early...all 3 nm+ or better. He used one of those sturdy foldable shipping boxes that can fit inside a mailbox in case anyone was curious.

Picked my copies up from the post office today. Mine were mailed the same way, very well packaged between cardboard and wrapped in brown paper. All my copies appear to be 9.8 candidates.

Those mailers are really good for shipping raw comics if they're packaged right; very sturdy.
