It looked cool, but I passed.

Cool book! Just finished reading issue 1 and I must say it liked it a lot. I like the story and the art and plan on adding this one to my monthly count. I like the art too; it fits the book nicely.

Snyder's epilogue where he discusses his inspiration for this book was a good read too; pretty clear the book is very personal to him.

Excited to pick up the OA for the Murphy cover!

It would make sense at the end of the season to tease Negan (just showing a shot of Lucille) in similar fashion how they teased the Prison and Michonne. The value of 19 skyrocketed in price after that. Doing the same in my opinion would cause 100 2nd and 3rd prints to jump big time..

 

I think the large print runs and multiple cover, variants will have 100 go up a little but not like 19 or 53

I agree, in fact i think the Comixology variant is starting to sell for a bit more now. A couple months ago I couldn't get $375 for my 9.8 copy and a few days ago I posted it again on feebay for $550 BIN w/Best Offer and got $520 for it. IIRC the previous two sales recorded in GPA were in $500 in Sept and $400 in June, so it seems to be heating up.

Though they were only speculating here, let me be the first to tell you all: Five Ghosts is officially in development for television at SYFY. We're working on a pilot now, will have lots and lots to report.

So I turned 30 today.

 

My wife have me the J Scott Campbell Spiderman from Sideshow....

 

She bought it at the local shop over a month ago.

 

It's missing it's arms! Wtf? My wife can't stop crying

 

Has this happened with sideshow stuff before? The insufficiently_thoughtful_person at the shop opened it up in front of her and said "they must be underneath the body" but he didn't want to lift the body up for fear it might break.

 

Anyways... I gotta get this fixed. And looks like my wife's never buying me another statue again after this ordeal

 

No, it's not . I thought the same thing when I got mine. Look closer on the outside styrofoam. There's a taped compartment that has the arms inside. The arms aren't inside the styro with all the other pieces. Let me know if you find it. It should be there. And tell your wife to stop crying , the arms are there and Happy Birthday

Sorry to hear that. Why don't you go back to the shop and see if you can talk to the guy. He might remember selling that statue and telling your wife that "the arms should be underneath" and since they weren't then work something out even if the purchase occurred over 30 days ago.

If that fails, reach out to Sideshow and see if they can help.

Chucky, those chogs are awesome; I love the packaging they come in! I never ordered them, but will preorder the green vinyl chog to go with the pink and glow in the dark ones.

That Michonne statue is so badass... I don't own it, but I did preorder the Rick Grimes statue and I cannot wait to get it!
