I'll be "that guy"
I stopped reading Chew pretty early on - I'm assuming it's from the book - so - what's a Chog?
And what exactly is that figurine/model/Toy?
It's obviously very cool judging by the comments - can anyone fill in the blanks?
Thanks!
Ask your good friend Google, he knows!

Excellent choice! PM me your address, please.

I wonder how CGC will score some of the idiosyncrasies with Five Ghosts. For example. #1 ECCC unsigned/unnumbered variant is much harder to get than one that is signed and numbered.
They prob will have the SS scored higher, than we will have to add it to the "Hey These Scores Need Fixing" thread.
Actually, at least in the Census, there isn't much difference between the Blues and Yellows.
Blue 9.9 - 1
Blue 9.8 - 16
Yellow 9.9 - 0
Yellow 9.8 - 20
Some of the blues have "number" written on the label, but there are also some blues that were not numbered. I don't think there was any differentiation made by CGC. I wonder which there are more of...

The SDCC news is that Fabian is now inexplicably a woman and all the five ghosts become african american.

I have one Universal 9.8, but I'll wait to sell it until after the show announcement!

I will be at SDCC again this year. I would help, but I believe the limit is one set per person and I need these to go with my set from last year.
It probably will be one set per person...

EB’s RAK :hehe:
Free to the next boardie who hasn’t already claimed or received any other freebie(s) in this thread. I’ll cover postage in the CONUS and the first $10 for International.
If they’re unclaimed after 48 hours, then anyone can have at ‘em. These are big books that will make for good summer reading… I'll prob also throw in some other X-related books.
if I'm eligible. Two days short of three months but I don't know if that applies to RAKs.
PM me your address! (Thumbs u

No worries, I sent the seller a question asking why cert number comes up as a 9.8 on the cgc site. lets see if I get a reply.

Awesome stuff guys!!
Me thinks it's RAK time........ something for the X-Fans coming up momentarily.

What's the rule about taking an offer but only wanting part of it? Using the current offer as an example; taking the current offer but only wanting the bat or the donation? Could the ASM 90 be a RAK and then I post my offer? Just wanted some clarification.
I'd take the offer and after I receive it I'd offer up what I'm not interested in as a RAK!

It is so hard for some to refrain from critiquing the current offer and/or stating their interest in an offer they may not be immediately eligible for...

Sweet box you got there.
:roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:
This could def be a The Naked Gun - Leslie Nielsen joke...

For Barth-PM your info

I wonder if he's doing one set per person.
because the way some are acting, like dope fiends , it might be worth standing in line and buying all the sets and flipping them x 3-4 cost to y'all.
Wanting 1 set of a limited 50 hardly qualifies someone as a dope fiend. Get me a NM/M set!

"If a new person want it before I get to the hotel to post an offer I will bow out."
MoeJoePin with the steal! I think it's his since Shadow Images said the above...

Lets not forget that tomorrow Rat Queens #7 hits the stores!
Let's not forget there is a 1:10 Variant of #7.
How hard will that be to get??
I see a lot of them on ebay... RQ 7 - Virgin

I am NOT going to be able to make it to SDCC this year is there any way i would be able to get one of the new SDCC sets?
Find someone who is going, figure out what it will take to get them to wait in Frank's line to get one for you.
Or eBay
This!
Plus... Who's going to SDCC and what'll it take to to get you to wait in Frank's line to get one for me???

Doesn't start for a couple weeks.

They are called Frickens or Chogs; pormanteau words made from the words Frog + Chicken or Chicken + Frog.
Early on in the book, it is revealed that Ray Jack Montero had been changing Frog DNA to make them taste (and look) more like chickens, creating a creature called Frickens, or Chogs and packaging their meat and calling it Poult-Free, a chicken substitute.
