I did send a message to the RQ Facebook page, and also messaged Kurtis via these boards, but unfortunately I did not get a reply to either approach.

From what I've seen with statues, they hold their value like variants.

 

How much was the Michonne statue when it was first released? Because I see several that have sold recently for under $200.

IIRC the MSRP for the McFarlane Michonne resin statue was also $295. The ones I see on the bay that sold for $200 or less were damaged/broken.

Get'em while you can or pay double down the road.

Got this up yesterday at Derby City Comic Con. I thought Rick and Michonne might be overdone so I decided to get a zombie version of myself. Definitely my favorite piece in my art collection now.

It's a money grab with no artistic reasoning behind it. They sell 50 statues without having to pay to have them painted and then try to pawn it off as a creative choice.

So unpainted is code for cheaper cost of production to the manufacturer, which equals more profit for the manufacturer. So in a sense, you believe that the "Artist Proof" ones should be cheaper... Gotcha.

It's a giclee print of issue 1's cover and exclusive to SDCC 14. I don't think they've done a giclee before... have they?

It was a rough one. It took me a while in the queue as well. Once I was put into the "buy tix" page it said 3 day passes were sold out. I kept refreshing and all the sudden the 3 day passes were available to purchase!

So now I need to book a flight and hotel!
