I know Venom Lethal Protector 1 had an error where the red was not put on so the cover is all black.

Well that's the point
He's not dead or going to die
So?
Did Superman die? Archie? Wolverine?
Thats just another gimmick, I get it
I'm surprised people still buy death issues, it seems like a gimmick that is very played out. Everyone knows what is going on when a character dies. These days, it rarely even serves the story well.
We need a new gimmick. Maybe chromium covers
Well unlike most death issues this one wasn't marketed as such. And with the series ending shortly anyway, you figured they could actually make the death stick. Plus it could have meant the impending death of Bebop and Rocksteady, which would have been pretty cool as well.
I have not heard anything about this series ending. Is 50 the last issue? I tried Googling it but I could not find anything.

He was charging $40 last Saturday at the NYCBM show in NYC for sketches.

You can add me to the list of NYCC 2nd print owners. I never sell anything, so it will be with me. It is nice to see that something I paid $2.50 for is going for crazy prices though.

Some people's children... Get a Saga #1 RRP and then have the signature be completely unwitnessed and get a green label.
I wish more people went that route, it makes mine more valuable.

That worked, thanks. They both look great.

It might be my phone but I got error messages on both of those links.

Anyone have contact information for Jim Shooter?
NYComics has had signings with him in the past.

I wanted to point out to everyone on the boards that Midtown Comics website has the Five Ghosts 13 blank that comes out next week up for preorder. I made sure I ordered mine and I want to make sure that anyone that does not have a local shop that ordered these gets a chance. As far as I can tell there are 44 left. I will post this in the Wave Of Next Blanks thread as well.
I should also point out that they are 15% off the cover price.
TFAW has them a bit cheaper at 20% off... Five Ghosts 13 Blank
(thumbs u
You are awesome thanks! I have no idea what the print run on these is and I want to make sure that all the board members that want them are able to get them.

Congratulations man that is a killer book.

I had a set reserved but there were not any of the Phantom Variants included. I am not sure where they came from, I did not see them for sale anywhere. (Most of my time was in Artist's Alley though.)

I think 53 and 65 are both for the same regular size version of The Fade Out #1.

Twin 10s, wow. Congratulations.

I read the books before the comics came out. I do not see it going past the third book. The expansion is the two seasons they are planning to do in between the books. From what I read the books will he season 1,3 and 5 with seasons 2 and 4 expanding and letting them do stuff that did not happen in the books.

Kudos to Dan(Par2ch)
I love seeing signed Cap books and this is a great one. Congratulations.

Nice work!

The SDCC news is that Fabian is now inexplicably a woman and all the five ghosts become african american.
 Marvel!
Dude you should work for Marvel with thinking like that!
I really like the Five Ghosts stuff and am looking forward to what news and new issues come out.

Get any that you can at cost at this point. The book is en llamas!
I would also say get any copies you can. I ordered ten each of the Francavilla, Hughes and Perez covers on Midtown's website before they cut it to one per customer. Now I wish I had bought more. Still thirty copies should not be bad, now I just hope that they do not arrive beat up. I usually do alright with Midtown so hopefully this will be another case of that versus the few times where my stuff comes with smashed corners.

Sonic already has a nice little following. If you find nice copies of the first 150 or so issues in the dollar bins, or less, I suggest picking them up.
I would also buy:
Justice League Europe 37
Superman 62
Detective Comics 639
Electronic Gamer Monthly Oct 1991
Disney Adventures November 1991 ( sonic mini comic ) This might be the first appearance of Darkwing Duck too but I do not know for sure.
Dude, you are a walking encyclopedia of obscure (and sometimes questionable) first appearances (thumbs u
He really is.
I think he may have a mutant power....
If I could have one it would be that of Multiple Man so I could film my dupes pleasuring each other.
I just read this now, thank you very much for making me laugh so hard this early in the morning.
Signature Series KUDOS Thread... You know the deal

I just wanted to say thanks to both Glenn (peasofcrap) and his CAW Brian who worked very hard at the Secaucus show this weekend. They even stayed after the show was over to help get me my Simon Bisley. The place was turning off lights around us and convention staff members kept asking Simon when he was leaving. Huge kudos are in order for that alone, but they really did a ton of work all day.
