  1. Beautiful on both, esp.. the HOS. I don't see that one in HG often. The Ghosts is what I'm more impressed with...first time I've seen a copy since the 9.0 I slabbed years ago. (a shoe-in for 9.4 except that the lrc chip damage)
  2. Some new/upgraded books I've had a while and was bored. Enjoy.
  3. Thanks for entertaining my question, Brian. I remember the long wait last winter so I'm gonna pull a #24 if it happens again.
  4. Great to see new blood contributing to the thread...come back and participate soon!
  5. So, is this sketch book Zombies or just random stuff? I'd love to see some of the Zombies if there are any... btw, is the fact that #57 has been resolicited for the past 2+ months mean that we can expect a 2+ month wait between 56 and 57? I recall that the winter months were devoid of TWD issues last year.
  6. Someone please give me a sanity check...did #57 get resolicited for the 2nd month in a row?
  7. An issue dedicated to demonstrating the concept of Zombie Herds...
  8. Do you own the 9.6? Nope, but it is registered in the registry...I was the underbidder on the Heritage auction some years ago when it sold. I bought my copy for about $30 raw and got it CGC'd as a 9.4 White Pages.
  9. Great books! I think I used to own those SOSHs... I can't believe that there is only one 9.6 copy of Ghosts #1 after all these years.
  10. It means that the book is running so late that Diamond is having to "resolicit" the book for the next month and all old orders for it have been cancled. That's what I thought... Thanks, Brian!
  11. Obviously...we all kick the bucket...sooner or later...
  12. btw, did you guys notice in your monthly ordering that there appears to be past issues showing back up? Does anyone know what's going on? It might be a database issue with my provider...just seeing if anyone has the scoop. WALKING DEAD #57 (RES) I already ordered #57 last month... what does RES mean?
  13. I had my LCS order the calendar for me, I'll be picking it up today. I got one too! Probably the first calender of my life Where can I get a calendar? I can't blame the wife for waiting for the TPB...it IS better to read many issues at once as opposed to the nuggets we get fed each month...give or take...
  14. I've managed to get my wife to read the first two TPBs...she is liking it. I've also totally geeked out and bought TWD t-shirt...just not brave enough to wear it outside the house
  15. Ironically, they've been going through the roof for the last few sales but none have hit the market recently. I would say $300 is not bad and not great either. I personally think $200 to $250 is where this book "should" be at. Given the print count and census, I'm not surprised #2, #3 and #6 aren't going nuts. Those are the toughies. 4 out of 4 TWD collectors agree
  16. True. Why can't the apocalypse be the result of a chemistry experiment by 12 year-olds in a treehouse? That would be somewhat original. Yes, but the kids got the stuff from the dad who works for a top secret government project and the kids snooped into the old man's suitcase.... ...or maybe it was the international pharmaceutical company, Umbrella...
