Decided it was time to share my Revival stash. Missing one CBLDF from the photo.

 

 

Im considering sending the rest of these in to be graded with a 9.8 prescreen but not sure if its worth it.

 

With respect - If you go 9.8 pre-screen you are only charged $3 by CGC.

How can you lose?

Theres a few grand sitting there mate.

Sell and spend dude.

 

Thanks for the advice Andy. Now I just need to find some other comics to round out my 50 for prescreen. Does anyone have experience with them taking a lower number for a prescreen?

I send mine through Joeypost to be pressed and they are flexible on the number. I think the lowest I've done is 37.

Hmm I could also just prescreen through Joey. Cost per comic through Joey pressed is 31 vs not pressed of 25.20..Not sure if thats worth it either. 5.80 adds up...

For 40 comics that would be 1240 vs 1008.

Any reason for the decline in sales from #7 and #8?

42,324 is more than, but close to what sales were prior to the TPB break...

The difference is more then the entire print run for Peter Panzerfaust this month...

Anyone else find it weird that the normal copy is up to $30 yet it doesnt seem any of the variants have really gone up in value?

How do you guys feel about the ghost variant ? I love the cover, but maybe I just the Stalk.

 

I'm tempted to pick more of these up.

Its weird...with all this Saga hype I havent seen it go up in value at all...

I hope the Revival #1 CBLDF gets as hot as the Saga RRP soon! Im sitting on 3 of them!

It was double the print run of Revival 1 and Thief of Thieves 1....

Peter Panzerfaust #1 has doubled in price...

Im amazed how many 2012 comics are on fire right now!

Just wondering if anyone knew the time frame from being scheduled for grading to being graded. Followed by the time it takes them to be shipped!

In my opinion:

ASM 698 - imo not the 1st appearance of Superior Spider-Man.

Daredevil 21 - cameo appearance of Superior Spider-Man.

ASM 700 - cameo appearance of Superior Spider-Man and

"death" of Peter

 

Avenging Spiderman 15.1 - 1st full appearance of Superior Spider-Man in new costume.

So the book to get is definitely the Avenging. And maybe 700.

 

If Daredevil came out before 700 why would you suggest that book over DD 21?

I'd suggest none of them. This is a story, no different from FF 587 or Cap 25. It'll all be over soon enough.

Spider-Man #1 Chromium cover CGC 9.8 at $205

Batman Adventures #12 CGC 9.8 already a $202 comic.

Wolverine #145 Nabisco Variant CGC 9.4 $200

Thief of Thieves #1 is trailing at $145

New Mutants #98 way behind the pack at only $139

$205 is low for Batman Adventures 12. It has had three sale in last three months for $300.

So for all you OA collectors Chris Giarrusso has his cover for #103 up for sale on his website! Whoever buys it please post a pic here! Chris almost gave this cover to Kirkman from my conversation with him last month. Looks like Kirkman told him to sell it instead!

There is supposed to be a phantom variant for 1-6...

I just want a Madder Red page. Well two pages. One of my buds Bdays is coming up this month and I wanted to get him one for his bday.

Larry's Special Edition is a #1 that is being released at the same time as the second print BUT it is not a second print per Larry.

Does the 2nd print come out tomorrow also?
