  6. Starting with a bang: New Adventure Comics 14, March 1937. I'm going to call this a 4.0. Sharp edges and corners, spine has some issues (paper peeling, not split). No Pressing or cleaning (yet). Complete, Supple, Attached (cvr detached bottom staple, otherwise solid), Gerber 8. AND - one of the coolest things about it - full page ad on back cover for Detective Comics 1! Asking $4,500 (why not? )
  7. Let's see what you all think of this one . . . Military Comics 3, Oct. 1941, Coverless but complete. 3rd Blackhawks, Origin/1st appearance Chop Chop. Nice Off White to White pages, supple, all attached nicely (except cover, of course). Nice if you have a spare cover lying around. I'll ask $125.
  8. World's Finest 90, 2.5. Batwoman cover, 1st appearance in this title, 3rd overall. Great early SA campy comics. These seem to be going for around $45, so that's what I'll ask.
  9. Thunda 5 3.0 looks great but bottom spine missing a piece and split to just above bottom staple (still attached in front). And a great crazy woman riding an eagle! Asking $50.
  10. Jungle Tales 1 (3.0) & 2 (4.5), really nice looking books, glossy and sharp, but again taking off for tanning inside covers (and some on cover for 1). Would like to sell together for $$250, or 1 for $215 and 2 for $75.
  11. Jungle Action 2, 4.0. Looks much nicer but I am taking off for tanning inside the covers. Nice looking Atlas book with cover by Joe Maneely. Asking $50
  12. Thrilling Crime Cases 48 0.5 (missing back cover, front still attached). LB Cole, explosion, guy is definitely a goner. Asking $10 (I don't make the prices, the market does) SOLD!!!!
  13. Archie's Pal Jughead 25, 2.5. I love these Jughead innuendo covers (early Jughead has a bunch). Betty is drawn incredibly here. Asking $75 SOLD!!!!
  14. Joe Palooka Comics 23, 3.0 - nice book but well used. Classic bathing Beauty cover for cheap! Asking $25
  15. Mr. District Attorney 31, 2.0 because it's a little delicate. Great Horror cover (and story?). $25 SOLD!!!
  16. Start with a great book - G. I. Jane 1 1.8/2.0 complete, cover mostly split but still attached (front attached at both staples!), centerwrap detached. One just sold on the bay in worse condition (I know, hard to believe) for a little less than I am asking. $150
  17. Da Rulz! No PROBies or HOSers. First in the thread wins, and trump any takes or agreements in DMs (so if we agree to a deal, in the main thread!) Payment by PayPal G&S or Zelle up to around $900. Above that payment by check but has to clear before I send any books out (references avialable) Returns not accepted unless I miss something (cut outs, missing page, etc.) - ask questions, etc before purchases if you have questions. I do try to make page counts as I have been burned too many times by a great book missing centerwrap etc. but I am not perfect. Shipping CONUS is USPS 1st Class mail for $5 for first book, $1 each additional. If it gets too heavy for 1st class I will bump it up to Priority (and the extra $1/book should mean no extra charge for higher service). If you live outside of CONUS or want a different service talk to me and we'll figure it out. Purchases over $999 and within CONUS will have free shipping. I do listen to offers, but don't always accept them. These books are really my wall books. I set up at a smallish local show and they just aren't moving (when I have a $1 box, that stuff moves. This stuff, which I love, not so much at the show). Their loss is your gain!!!
  18. That upper 1/3rd was what was usually visible at the newsstand - EC covers are another example of art that would have been even better if they used the whole thing. Marvel Mystery amd most GA DC books also. Interesting that many Superhero books didn't bother and had art that went all the way up
