    Ok, so I have a couple of Silver Age books too . . . Tales of Suspense 1 CGC 3.5 OW. I was expecting a higher grade, but that's what we pay CGC the big bucks for - disappointment! Presents beautifully. Asking $2,000.

    Tales from the Crypt 46 CGC 6.5 WHITE pages, last issue, Jack Davis cover. Incredible looking book (blacks you can lose yourself in). Asking a measly $2,100 SOLD!!!

    Startling Terror Tales 12 CGC 2.5 OW pages. This is one of those low graded books that is perfect - almost all the detracting damage is on the back (top back to be exact - bug chew along top of back cover). Meaning this classic LB Cole cover looks like a much higher grade! Asking $1,200

    We'll go to Crime and then a couple of Horror books: True Crime Comics V2 #1 CGC 6.5 C/OW. Great uncommon book in nice grade with Wood, Toth and Roussos art and it's in SOTI (what more could you want?). Asking $1,100

    Next I'll start a group of Gingers with the classic of the run, Ginger 4 CGC 4.5 OW/W pages. This is a classic cover, bookend to Archie 50 (used to be the 'poor mans' Archie 50, but it's come into it's own). Vibrant colors and great clean image. Asking $900.

    It's been a minute since I listed any books on the boards, so I apologize in advance for my hiatus. Usual rules - no bad people, HOSers, Probies, etc. Take PayPal up to $1,000, above that prefer check (references available, have sold to many a reputable boardie using check) - check must clear before books sent. No returns on slabs, sorry. Shipping in CONUS is $15 (Priority box), for above $1,000 free shipping. Outside the US ask about shipping. Shouldn't be an issue (sent to Canada, Australia and even Saudi Arabia once) I will entertain offers. I will serve them drinks, talk to them, make sure they are comfortable, maybe even recite poetry for them. But no guarantees I will accept them. I seriously like offers. I can always bring down a price, I can't raise it. Will leave this up for a week. I am expecting more books back from CGC this week so if things are going ok with this thread may just add them here.     I've had cases where there were no notes posted right away, but they did show up at some point.

    I will throw my two cents in the ring in the hope that CGC reverses this poorly considered move. THE WHOLE POINT OF SLABBING IS SO THAT PEOPLE KNOW WHAT THEY ARE BUYING!!!! You have now hidden all these defects from buyers. Why would I want to slab a book for sale now? Buyer would want the grader notes. If I am buying a slabbed book I will have to track down the grader notes. I don't mind most things but will not buy a book with tape. Now how do I know if it has tape of not??? Extra time to find the notes, if I can. This destroys a ton of credibility for CGC slabbed books. It looks like things are being hidden. It is not good. This looks like what an unscrupulous seller would do - not disclose things. Very bad idea.
