I saw that. Hard to have faith when you see stuff like this. No offense intended to cgc but more than ever I am looking at the book more than the grade these days.

    My flow is

    1.  Look at the book (some lower grade look really nice)

    2.  Look at the grade (this will say how much it will cost)

    3.  Look at the grader’s notes.  I am shocked at how many books I was interested in that had popped staples.  Recent example was the last round out Adventure Sandman cover books.

  2. If we are being honest, most people (not all) will talk endlessly about how they wouldn’t deal with someone because of their past history but when the rubber hits the road they would buy from Hitler if the price was only 2x market value and comment on how much they liked his mustache when they bought the piece from him.  When someone says “hey didn’t Hitler have that for sell?” they will quickly reply “really?  They guy I bought it from must have bought it from him, wish I had known”

Thing I am most surprised about this auction so far is not a single Charles Schulz piece yet.  Now that could change but with ~925 lots so far would have thought there would be 2 to 4 listed.

Okay, I feel better now, two early strips showed up.

One of the most iconic ‘60’s toys. Most toys have taken serious price drops over the years but not Loo. Still very popular and brings good money if you are lucky enough to find one.

I will be kicking myself for the next decade for not bidding more

    A great score indeed!

Here is mine. I got it out of the back of a truck at the Brimfield, MA flea market many years ago. My daughter was so great to push it around all day in a shopping cart. I had my flashlight with me so I got to test it before I bought it and it worked well. Although I don't have the box, it is totally complete and working. I was stoked to find it.

And now the you have The Great Garloo, you really need to search out his big brother Big Loo. Near impossible to find complete and working but what an impressive guy!

I know board member @Ghastly542454 is also in the club.

I missed winning 1 of 3 complete Big Loos with the box in the same auction.  Really regret not bidding more
