I never could figure out how a non-war cover got that price in the first place
Definitely one of the "goofier" covers

It seems like grades have softened up across the board at CGC since Blackstone took over. I wonder if the same thing has occurred over at NGC. If it has, it might be a deliberate attempt to try to make a quick buck through resubmissions while completely disregarding the impact on the company's reputation. If they have one good year, they may sell the company and let the hapless buyer deal with the long-term fallout. If that what's going on, then it's sort of like what some stock market manipulators have done with pump-and-dump schemes.
If I had been the grader my note would have been “slight wear bottom right corner”

This is a set up right?…..
Fine. How much of it can you see?
A couple of items without scans but on the plus side, Comic Connect has several weeks to get scans up before the auction kicks into gear.

I am actually watching a lot of stuff in this one.

If we are being honest, most people (not all) will talk endlessly about how they wouldn’t deal with someone because of their past history but when the rubber hits the road they would buy from Hitler if the price was only 2x market value and comment on how much they liked his mustache when they bought the piece from him. When someone says “hey didn’t Hitler have that for sell?” they will quickly reply “really? They guy I bought it from must have bought it from him, wish I had known”

One of the most iconic ‘60’s toys. Most toys have taken serious price drops over the years but not Loo. Still very popular and brings good money if you are lucky enough to find one.
I will be kicking myself for the next decade for not bidding more

A great score indeed!
Here is mine. I got it out of the back of a truck at the Brimfield, MA flea market many years ago. My daughter was so great to push it around all day in a shopping cart. I had my flashlight with me so I got to test it before I bought it and it worked well. Although I don't have the box, it is totally complete and working. I was stoked to find it.
And now the you have The Great Garloo, you really need to search out his big brother Big Loo. Near impossible to find complete and working but what an impressive guy!
I know board member @Ghastly542454 is also in the club.
I missed winning 1 of 3 complete Big Loos with the box in the same auction. Really regret not bidding more

I didn't even place in the swimsuit competition
