Same bro😭
Crazy that they don't get recorded and entered for so long. You would think that CGC would want to at least do that so they could collect the fees. Although if they did record on day of receipt it would probably double TAT. I mean that's great TAT is listed at 20 days, when you have actually taken possession 14 days prior which would make the TRT 34 days.

It's really a win-win situation for CGC. They won't change anything with the high turnaround times because they are banking on collectors slowing down their submissions. Once the turnaround times go down to normal, people will start sending in their books again. In the meantime, CGC will continue grading at the same pace they are now with the same staff.
I have been waiting about a month to send in a group for Value tier thinking turnaround times would decrease. They keep getting worse so I sent in today thinking it could be over 100 days by the time they log them in.

Modern slow track at 47 days now.
Then add in the two weeks it takes to get them from being delivered to received status.

Every since package has been "found" and has either been delivered or in transit. The set of packages sent on December 16 were finally scanned in on January 25 and hopefully they should start arriving tomorrow. At least my recent packages have all been on time with easy tracking.
I am waiting on one package that was shipped over a month ago. It is out for delivery today. I agree, I am seeing things "normalize" with the newer shipments. I have had things shipped last week that arrived yesterday. That hasn't happened in a long time.

We mailed a package from NJ to PA three weeks ago. It has been sitting in Florida for over two weeks. Yes, Florida.
I have noticed a lot of my packages being routed through Florida when that's not even the right direction towards the destination. I have to wonder if the usps is routing away from troubled distribution centers.

Any feedback on how long they're taking to check in/receive new books? Had another shipment that was picked up by them from the P.O. on 1/6 and they're still not marked received.
Some as long as 2 weeks for me.

Well as I said... I think I hold the record.
My package that was sent from the USA on Sept 4 2020 arrived yesterday Jan 12 2021 after being sent first to Australia, and then here to Canada. This is a badge I hope not to hold for a long time.
This is a first for me in almost 15 yrs of ordering online and receiving packages.
Glad it finally arrived safe. My longest is December 8th, I am still waiting.

I think my story beats everyone else's.
I ordered a book that was sent from the US back in early Sept through USPS. It accidently got sent to Australia. It got redirected back to Canada in early Dec. It landed in BC today, and it still needs to travel to Ontario.
Oh, and it's not an inexpensive book
I haven't purchased a single book since this all went down.
Sorry to miss the Christmas exchange this year. I'm sure it all turned out well for everyone. With the lockdown and my new home I had plenty to keep me busy.
I have seen more and more misrouting with so many shipments. I sent something to Chicago that somehow was sent to San Juan, Puerto Rico then eventually back to Chicago.

Its where i live!
So this thing dissappeared for a month after its scan in CA after the drop of from the seller, and then magically reappeared at my local PO and will probably be on a truck for delivery tomorrow. No scans in between, nothing. No regional distribution hubs. Super weird.
Yeah, I have seen that regularly during this mess. I guess they are just pushing through the system and not taking time to scan as it moves through the process. This is what causes anxiety with some as you see it get to a certain point then nothing for 2 weeks then a scan from across the country. I actually had two packages I was waiting on get acceptance scans, then nothing for almost three weeks. I then get a text notification it was delivered in my mailbox, and boom it has arrived. Maybe the postal system is beta testing a new mail transporter system similar to Star Trek.

Some sellers years ago said something to me that applies here.
There are two ways I pack comics. One for Nov to Jan and another for the rest of the year.
Yeah, it is crazy how delayed things are for sure. I have been doing this a while and have never seen something like this. Hard to expect anything on time and Ebay, the Postal service and pretty much all sellers of goods have warnings of the delays all over their sites. Not sure how you are upset at not receiving a package in a week.

I had my first ebayer open a case on me in years over his book. He knows its delayed, but wanted
to cover himself. I cant blame him and its very frustrating as I have no less then 8 or 9 packages now
tied up in USPS red tape.I just had a case opened 10 minutes ago. Item was won on 12/22. Shipped 12/23 to South Carolina. Is in Florida distribution center as of the 26th and they have requested a refund via Ebay. Any idea how Ebay is handling these types of situations? I know it will arrive I mean unless you live under a rock you know mail is severely delayed.

I have 2 that hit that facility in Detroit and have not updated since. I also see that anything I have that is coming through Georgia is also stuck in limbo.

Stuff I sent this week has already been delivered. Stuff I sent a month ago has been stuck in the void for weeks.
I have incoming packages approximately 12 or so that are now a month into their journey and no closer to being delivered. Their status' just say in transit arriving late and have for a month. I do see that stuff shipped last week is close to being delivered and moved through quickly. I have this picture in my mind of a the Indiana Jones warehouse but just full of packages.
