Good god thats insane. The issue here is I dont think AI will help much with comics and mags but cane take a lot of time out of the manual process for cards. Thus I would only expect things to get worse for comics and mags unless you are going the private signing route.
At this point I may sub all my books for random SS even if the artist had nothing to do with the book. Just so I get them back timely.

This picture is fairly accurate.
In my mind it is more like this:

So they should now be getting into the beginning of the books subbed to beat the price increase if they are opening May 3rd. Curious to see TAT times over next 2 weeks.

I have gotten that status before. Was explained to me that book is done and in the CGC Vault. It doesn't stay there long before heading out, or at least mine didn't.

Probably needed to update the TAT field to 4 digits.

She didn't really answer your question.
I just assumed that they come in and since there are multiple graders they are distributed across the graders. As we all know in life, some are faster, better and/or more meticulous at their job than others.

Kind of a harsh thing to do to him on the first day on the job. Do they make a case that large?
I would be happy if he learns the process from the beginning. How about opening some boxes and entering the books into the system.

Looks like some one is prepping for a customer service position.

the submission site is completely down.
Back up with new tiers and a new waiver for slab cracking.

I got an email that I submitted my order but I can print it DOH!
Ditto. It does have a confirmation number on it so I guess they can use that if I can't print the detailed list.

on book 11 now, 1 hour 25 minutes later
Entered 9 books around 12 eastern. With the crashes and errors it took me over an hour to finally get an invoice created. I guess the April 28th rush won't be a big factor in TAT. Well played CGC!

40 books delivered on 3/29 not showing up yet. Concerned. I did call about a week ago and they said they were behind opening the mail up so....
Don't be they will show up. They are at CGC. Looks like they are almost a month behind at this point.

I upgraded from Associate to Premium at the beginning of April, so yes, it's good that the current benefits will remain for one year. Probably will return to Associate next year though...
I was looking last week at upgrading from Premium to Elite. If I do this by the 28th will my Elite carry on for a year?

Sorry if someone else already pointed this out...
Anyone else see the new "Confirm Package Receipt" tool on the My Submissions page. And this message on top of the tracking page "Note: Your submissions won’t appear here until they’ve been entered into our system. To check if we’ve received your package, click here."
So far I can't get it not work. Even tried an old submission that is already checked in from last month. If using the tracking number shown on my Order Acknowledgement. But it is a step in the right direction I guess if the it's going to take a month+ to check-in books.
Glad you said that as I too have entered "delivered" items that are in limbo and it says they have not been received. I also tried one that is listed and it also says not received.

Or they can introduce a new Super Duper Walkthru Variant Edition tier for a mere $3k minimum price tag, where the CGC employee flies out to your house to pick up the book, and then hand delivers it back to you fully graded/encapsulated before midnight that same day. Either that or the CGC graders show up at your house with the encapsulation equipment to grade the books in your garage, while you drink your coffee in the kitchen. "Hey guys are you done yet, I need to go out and pick-up some groceries?" "Just about, but the lighting in your garage sucks. Do you have some more lamps so we can spot these defects better?" "Sorry, that's all I have. Just do your best. If you can't see the creases, then maybe there are none."
How about a "Grade your Own Kit" Comes with labels, holders etc and you do it yourself..................

Anyone have any idea how long books are sitting in the new Grading/Encapsulating status before heading to the next phase, I assume Grading/Quality Control or Finalized shipped?
