Is anyone going to go the extra yard at CGC and, I dunno, maybe get off their behinds and actually go look for them?  Joey has been on to CGC weekly - and got nowhere.

If CFP comics can't get CGC to pull its finger out, then expect many.many more books to 'get lost'

 

There are only 2 reasons - negligence or theft. I would hope its negligence - which can easily be fixed, BY MAKING A BLOODY EFFORT TO FIND THE TWENTY MISSING BOOKS!!

While not the same dollar value I have had June submission that has not been found in over 2 months. It was a modern fast track that they believe was submitted slow track. While entered into the system, it cannot be located. They tell me every week they are still looking.

I had a few subs that were received in early to mid Sept and when right to G/E/I and have been sitting there ever since.

It is. Now if only they can find my MFT sub that was opened and marked as received on 6/22. They have been trying to look for it in the slow track going on 3 weeks now.

Yep not even accurate some times. I have orders listed and received that still don't show up as received in the tool.

On a side note, since the CGC deadline for packages delivered was June 30th (to take advantage of old pricing), you'd think things will start moving a lot quicker now (since they're currently opening the last packages from that week).

 

I agree. What is even crazier is that two other submissions that were delivered in May, recorded as received on 7/15, were shipped back to me on August 20th.

I must have missed the announcement that they are switching from FIFO to LIFO for completing books. How is it that two subs received 3 weeks later are moving and the other two aren't?

Don't panic. While I like the idea that CGC is giving you a way to see if they have it in the system, I have a couple that have been received, entered and in the process and never showed up in that tool. As long as you see it as delivered it will be there. Best way to check is when they are saying what week they are processing I have seen my books do get entered on that week.

Meaning dont think SFG actually means anything other than CGC has your books and sometime in the future your books are "scheduled" to be graded.  

Not sure why this is confusing some of you. 

When you see a "G" in the status change then be excited!

I equate it to the old "verified" status.

Yep and the trend line is higher TATs not lower, so by the time they open it could be 8 or 9 months.
