  1. These two books are the Parillo Virgin variants from a couple years back. The print run was limited to 600. $45 - Grim Knight 1 (Parrillo C2E2 #317/600) NM+ $45 - Grim Knight 1 (Parrillo C2E2 #318/600) NM+
  2. As is a common theme amongst many of these books, not only are ALL books listed IN HAND now... but the majority of what I have listed has been hand picked to get the best copies possible. All of the images are my own scans and not stock photos. In some cases, I may have multiple copies where I may sell a portion on other venues. Know that my BEST copies will always be listed here EXCLUSIVELY on these boards in this sales thread (and for cheaper prices too!). Any questions, feel free to ask or PM me. First up are a few holdovers from days of C2E2 past. Like all my other posts, these are board exclusives. I've discounted everything from my normal FeeBay pricing, which was already discounted from what I had spent to acquire them over the last few years. I will post show exclusives on Friday night when I get home from the show.
  3. Friday is C2E2 2021!!! The Exhibit list is a bit thin this year, likely due to the pandemic and the timing of the show. This year I'll only be attending one day, but still plan on picking up a number of exclusives. No books will be posted until I have them in hand. I don't agree with presales on these boards, as there's never any guarantee that the books will be obtained or in the condition that is expected. All the comics I will have for sale will be hand-picked and will be bagged and boarded. As with every year I run this sale, expect a large mix of books. Everything listed in this thread is exclusive to the thread. In the case where I have multiple copies available, I will denote if some of those copies are being offered separately elsewhere. Like the Exhibitor list, I'm not seeing many show exclusives being advertised. (I can't say I'm happy with the C2E2 website this time around.) However, I have a good idea of what's being offered at the show and will try to pick up what I can. I'm happy to take requests for show variants, but get those requests in early, as I'm only attending one day. TERMS: First unconditional by timestamp wins, whether in the thread or in PM. I will post the timestamp of any winning PM should a conflict arise. I will absolutely NOT sell to anyone on probation or on the HOS list. I reserve the right to withhold sales to any member currently being discussed in the probation thread. PAYMENT: PayPal, Zelle, CashApp, Money Orders, Cashier's Checks, and Personal Checks all accepted. I wait 10 days for any form of paper payment to clear. Want to pay in Cryptocurrency? I can make it happen. SHIPPING: Priority Mail Shipping to the US is a flat $8. International shipping is at cost. I generally ship within 2 business days of receipt of payment. Local pickup in the Chicagoland area, but you have to come towards me. (Southwest suburbs) RETURNS: Returns on RAW books are accepted within a 10 day period of delivery.
  4. Being a Wolverine fan, I started seeking out the 75 cent mini series and $1.00 Kitty Pryde series at least 15 years ago. CPV or not, that Wolverine 1982 set has become absurdly expensive. Part of me misses that time where I could go long-box hunting and pull multiple midgrade copies for under $10.
  5. That's a really nice looking 75 cent Canadian of the #3 you got there. I find it interesting that you have Newsstands of #1, 3, and 4, only one of which is a CPV, but the #2 is a Direct edition.
  6. There is nothing that has made me smile more than this announcement from today... well, maybe the birth of my kids... but this one ranks right up there.
  7. I was really hoping you had something "new" here. It's always exciting when oddities or unknown variants have been discovered. Then again, as an X-Men completionist, I would be pulling my hair out to find a copy for myself. I'm glad we were able to collectively solve the mystery.
  8. I pulled out my copy to check. It seems like your front cover is simply the 2nd to last page of the book, but folded over. That would explain why the X-Men 98 is the back cover, as that page was to the left of the 143. Some pictures will make this easier to make sense of what I'm describing... Front Cover First Page w/ Indicia Back Cover Last Page 2nd Last Page If you flip one more page from the back (3rd to last), it's the ending of the UXM 341 story. Also, all these pages feel like Newsprint stock, but really, it's just the feel of each page of the interiors. IMO, you're missing the normal cover AND the X-Men 143 cover was folded around to act as the new front cover (thus making the X-Men 98 act like the back cover). Unless the staples have been modified, you should be able to turn that page back and see the staples more clearly with the first page being the X-Men 109 indicia and the back cover being the cover of UXM 341. Hopefully this helps.
  9. Looks like @Webhead2018got a Suydam commission just the other day that he posted in the Signature Series section. He may be able to help you out with info on pricing.
  10. @Sam T, I think you have some research to do on blockchain technologies. I mean no disrespect here, but I think you are misunderstanding how this works. While some blockchains can indeed be private, in the scope of any publicly purchased/traded NFTs, you're always working with blockchains that are also publicly operated and decentralized. The key is the decentralization where the whole database is maintained and verified by nodes within that database. Equally as important, anyone with a PC can run as a node. Based on these facts, I'm not sure how you could come to the conclusion that these are privately controlled or proprietary.
  11. Though I'm not going to speculate on the value of digital tokens in the future, the premise of the OP's arguments are fundamentally flawed based simply on the fact that the OP's definition of NFTs are flawed. In particular, the OP misses or ignores the whole Non-Fungible aspect of an NFT, which is two-thirds of its whole name. The example given is NOT an NFT, and conflating the printing and value of 1990s trading cards to NFTs is foolish. I find it funny when comic collectors, such as myself, declare that something they don't fully understand should have no value and therefore have no marketplace. Let's not lose sight of the fact that we derive value from paper products colored in inks. Would you also argue that the comics we collect (and are so passionate about) should be worth nothing more than the paper that they are printed on? I don't buy into that idea, nor will I engage in any activity where I tell another person that their hobby or collection is dumb and worthless.
  12. Assuming this is indeed USPS that you're concerned about (vs UPS or FedEx), you can file for a Change of Address. That should take care of what you need. https://faq.usps.com/s/article/Change-of-Address-The-Basics
  13. I remember back in the day... "Jim Starlin hates CGC!". In fact, there was even a 41 page thread dedicated to the topic. Oh how the times have changed.
  14. If you're still not sure, you can find any tax forms within your PayPal account. Here's a quick link that should work for you: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_tax-statements Now, if you signed up for eBay's Managed Payment system in 2020, then it's possible that eBay would be sending you those forms. Below is a link to eBays tax form center: https://www.ebay.com/sh/fin/taxforms If you had sales in both systems, you may have forms on both sites.
  15. After much deliberation... fine, I'll buy this one back too.
  16. I've sold two of these ever, both on these boards. One of them I've already bought back.
  17. So funny you say that about Mondo Gecko! I think that's the sticker I pulled one time as well, along with the full team, gold background (leftmost sticker in the pic). I haven't thought about these in a LONG while. I think I picked these up at the local Dominick's in Chicago through one of those sticker vending machines. That must have been around 1991. These immediately got peeled and stuck to the footboard of my bed. That was the best place I could think to put them as a kid. Those two stickers fell off long ago, though I had other plain white TMNT stickers that are still firmly attached.
  18. Yeah... but guys... you can open up an eBay Mastercard to earn even more eBay Bucks! Sure, this credit card probably has no real world reward system built it, and the APR is probably through the roof... but eBay bucks!!!!!! In lieu of any actual cash back rewards, you can now earn credit into their closed-loop eBay economy. Sure, their bonus is probably only 1%, and after they get enough signups that percentage will likely be cut... but you make those eBay Bucks on all of your purchases now... until they decide that it's only purchases made on the eBay site. I don't even care that this credit expires after 12 months... ebay Bucks!!!!!!!!!!! But, let's face it... you were just gonna take all your hard-earned cash anyway and spend it on their auction poorly executed Amazon-clone site. Ebay bucks are just as good as cash... probably better when you think about it. This system cuts out the middle man and simplifies your life. That right there is your bonus (+$50 statement credit if you spend $250 in the first 30 days). It's the system you never asked for and never knew you wanted... eBay bucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think the point of this post is that you just have to trust and put faith in your eBay overlords. I, for one, will be opening a new credit card with eBay today... two in fact.
  19. I don't do much selling on eBay anymore, but was forced into their MP system last month when I tried to edit a listing. I can't say I'm happy with the 13.1% final value fees, but that's about what I would have paid while adding in the PayPal fee anyway. What kills me is the shipping labels I print through eBay still get charged against my PayPal account... so eBay takes my payments now and has my money, but they relegate the label payments to a 3rd Party processor?!?! That just means that eBay is holding onto more of my money, while I need to make a separate payment for every transaction to cover shipping. I looked around, but didn't see anything. Anyone know a if there is a setting to charge my shipping costs against the actual sales of the transactions vs those costs being shipped out to PayPal each time?
  20. Why can't someone just slab their Action Comics #91? I'm not saying that the submitter didn't know what he or she had, but to me, the absence of the 002 doesn't necessarily prove anything here. Maybe they couldn't find their Action #92, so only submitted the #91. Maybe their Detective #106 with the Action #92 interiors was in such rough shape that they decided to keep it raw.
  21. Just came to this thread to look at some cool cards... This is a good discussion, but this is not the thread for it.
  22. You may have been distracted. It's "Age of Chaos"... with a "g". I did a double take just to make sure... then a triple take for good measure.
  23. Super fast payment! This couldn't have been a smoother transaction. Thanks again!
