  1. I remember seeing an old VHS (look it up kids) of the 'uncut version' - and the orgy scene near the end - well, you could tell that most were not acting at all! Fir disclosure I picked up a beater run of 1-7 and saw 6 commanded a higher price, and wasn't sure why a Thanos story would cause it. Apparently I was wrong! Thanks for the replies!
  2. Fair enough - replies have shown my idea sucks balls. So for the naysayers - what's the alternative? I hate to say this - but I think we are heading there - a 'registration fee' to buy and sell. If you don't want to - fine, you still have access to the rest of the forum. It's difficult, as 98% of the time, all goes well, but as more and more 'facebook marketplace' types find this place, I doubt that this issue will go away. I sell a lot on ebay, and the new younger buyers are the ones causing any problems, usually after they burnt their FB bridges (not that all younger buyers are problematical) It's usually the message written in text-talk that's the first clue! Honestly, I think we are lucky on here so far - but as the Neeleys showed, things can go bad very, very quickly.
  3. Someone suggested this book had some significance because of the Thanos story. If so, why? Thanks
  4. And now Wendy is picking locks with a paperclip....
  5. Fedex has its own depot, but all mail flights come through Tullamarine - again Customs will expedite arriving packages as they collect 10% The Victorian Fedex depot is 10km from me, if I can help?

  7. Again, this is why new members should not be allowed to participate in the sales forum or send PM's until they reach 100 posts / 12 months membership. Facewank is leeching onto these boards more and more. Time to draw a line in the sand - @CGC Mike
  8. It's all getting a bit 'jumping the shark' - Senators, Cartels, Fortune 500 CEO's $300 million $$$... Yet they don't have basic security (S4 Ep #5 I'm on) - it's all getting (even more) far fetched......So people can wander up to the Byrd House whenever they want?? Season 1 - 3 were good, but this has gotten a bit silly. Especially 'family drama'
  9. Wait until you start getting unsolicited emails to your paypal address from a boardie trying to sell books. Guess he must need more tin foil.
  10. I'm going to ask a dumb question - so apologies in advance. How do you 'cash-out' a crypto currency - ie swap coin based funds in your locked wallet for real cash?
  11. If you get to Australia and through customs, you should be OK. I strongly suggest this is due to pressure from Customs and excise to keep incoming flowing as it generates 10% GST on every package value for the Govt. Going OUT of Australia is where the carnage is happening. And domestically - well Aust Post aren't even opening missing mail requests until a minimum of 15 business days have accrued past 'due date'. My parcel is somewhere in here! And yes, those are all Airport factories in the background - as far as the eye can see.
  12. Kinda cool. Found an article (loads out there) that timelined every movie / TV show / You-tube series etc as they play out in real time. Totally not the same as the Disney+ timeline. Made a hugely enjoyable difference. For example the ending of Cap America Segues into the opening scene of Agent Carter Season #1 etc etc The list breaks down Shield episodes (watch S1 ep's 1-14 then Movie X for example) - and also adds all the Netflix shows (Daredevil, Jessica Jones etc), Spidey Movies - all the way back to Ang Lees Hulk. You will need months of spare after work hours, but I am finding it really, really good. There are slightly differing versions out there - but not by much. Anyone else done this?
  13. I had my covid booster. So this is my contribution for tonight, as I feel like a baboons arsehole
  14. Aust Post / StarTrack are completely broken. I was told to my face at a regional post office that all parcels were being taken to the airport and stored (domestic and internatioal) as there aren't enough pilots, planes or truck drivers (let alone warehousemen) to deal with the backlog. My query online was the 46th million this year. Need proof - here's tracking for my 'express post ' item. Complete joke. I've tried to get it RTS - but at the moment - they don't even know which warehouse complex it's in - let alone a specific one. Oh yeah - value $7500 And of course it's not 'lost' because the tracking says so. Guys, don't send stuff from Australia to anywhere overseas - and I would advise caution (contact your local PO) to check USA have flights to carry the items to Australia (once here and through customs they seem to get delivered) - it's flying them here thats the issue. It's a shambles.
  15. So it's basically a 5% penalty because you had so many returns? Am I reading this right? Out of 800 sales - 12 were returned as item 'not as described' by the buyers. So ebay applied a punitive fee to try to get you to not have so many returns?
