  1. Mount is tied up in Star Trek though? And having just come out of yet another 'snap' lockdown in Victoria - filming base of Mad Max, Ghost Rider, the Leftovers, and Sydney NSW (also with snap lockdowns) shooting currently Thor, Love and Thunder, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings etc etc - There is no way that anything is getting filmed here soon. We still have quite harsh restrictions, so I can't see Marvel doing much this year. HOWEVER - Covid permitting, Melbourne will be an even bigger hub for Marvel movies - the 2nd biggest arena in Melbourne - 58,000 seater Ethiad Stadium was taken over by Marvel - and is now known as Marvel Stadium. There's only a MCU shop inside at the moment, but I have heard there are plans to incorporate a Thor themed 'sky-ride' over the City from the stadium (a high roller coaster) and start introducing Marvel themed images in the ground itself. Marvel Stadium is where Ghost Rider was filmed - and there are big Aussie / Kiwi Marvel connections - Hemsworth, Jackman and Taika Waititi plus the films listed above. @gadzukes - there will be plenty of extra's work down here soon! They employed thousands for Ghost Rider.
  2. Be funny if they go straight to Quicksilver being a dad as well as Wanda really being a mother and Crystal and The Inhumans pop up right at the end of the series. It does follow straight after Chthon / Mordred story. Make sense as Peters is defo wearing the comic Quicksilver costume. Avengers #188 I think.
  3. So is everyone made whole now? Refund issued? What a mess.
  4. I suggest you check again, if you are that bothered. Their own forum is full of complaints from people who have just been frozen out for no reason. Sharryn is telling you on this very thread that she cannot reach them. The loss of ebay will be a massive blow - I have strong doubts they will be around in a couple of years. I actually don't care either way tbh
  5. It's been getting stranger and stranger since paypal and ebay split. I've emptied my account to the bare minimum - I'll just use the attached bank account when buying something. I'm not sure paypal will be around too much longer ebh. Too many issues with security, random holds on accounts and difficulty contacting them.
  6. Gotta hold my hands up and say I got this one totally wrong! Knew there would be a bounce after the sub 2K sales but not up to nearly 4K I still think this will end up a $1750 - $2000 book eventually. It's a sell for me at $3000!
  7. Honestly I had to - there has been this absolute wanker form Singapore who keeps making full price offers to get around this to quite a few comic sellers. He never pays. Ever. So now he's blocked to buy by my settings , then sends full price offers as zero feedbacks are blocked, doesn't pay, and then opens yet another new account. We know its him as its the same message every time. He must be on his 7th or 8th account. It would seem to be a full-time habit. Of course some insufficiently_thoughtful_person seller always leaves a 'warning' positive so he can get around the zero feedback block. That's why I always block 'problem children' straight away. I did notice ebay had lifted the blocked-buyers capacity from 3000 to 5000
  8. Thanks as per above. It does take some getting used to. Even with cheap items I'm still wary of posting as funds show unavailable but ebay tell you to send. NOT liking this 30c per transaction charge. I sell a ton of cheap stuff - easy pack and send so no drama but the 30c does make a difference - I guess I'll have to add it into postage pricing. It's only per transaction, not per item yeah?
  9. Following up - deposit to my bank has now been put back a day. Is this normal? Was due 11th feb, now 12th feb Funds show as available. New system here in Aus - but it IS my $$ not ebays'
  10. Seriously? Not on a long vacation? @Buzzetta
  11. Well, day one of MP - don't know what to think at the moment. Not much volume - $135 of sales - so a manageble start. We have daily payouts - but not in account yet - I'm guessing midnight? I HATE that the checkout icon doesn't show up. I'm finding I'm double checking on the old format (which I saved as a bookmark and is still running) to tally with the new format. It all seems to be working - but I probably won't relax until funds hit the bank. What happens with a cancelled payment? I ask as I have an e-check pending and it only shows on the old format - the transaction doesn't exist on the new 'managed payment' format. #confusedaboutecheques
  12. That's kinda my point. I'm not saying you can't enjoy Wandavision - but as you have just pointed out - you'd need to watch FIVE 2hr+ movies to get the most out of it. I'm not sure that's a sustainable model.
  13. As feared, some people are plain confused about this show. Its becoming mandatory to watch every single MCU vehicle to avoid getting hopelessly lost. I read comic stuff, but even I'm having trouble following this thread. No-body is going to get the Tiger / Dr Strange stuff etc unless they are total fanboys. Most people aren't and these shows, no matter how good for avid comic readers, are struggling with mainstream viewers. You shouldn't have to watch 9 season of SHIELD to get some of Wandavision, and you shouldn't be forced to watch Wandavision to get the most out of Phase 4 of the MCU. There are too many shows / movies on too many platforms, and if this is not addressed, and shows / movies made less dependent on each other, then people will stop watching.
  14. I seem to be 'King Of The TPB's' at the moment! Which isn't idea but keeps the turnover going. This old pile, plus a bag of complete drek - about 60 comics. The Ultimates #1 (no issue #2 sadly) was the pick of a very bad bunch of individual comics. Still all this for $70 USD was not too shabby. PLUS - he's having a big clean out of his collection later in the year - and I now have 1st dibs
  15. Starts here for me in 2 days I'm quite looking forward to having paypal out of the equation unless i decide to use them. Having been frozen twice in 3 months due to errors with their software - and having to wait ages to unfreeze funds - bring it on. Only issue I have is with e-chqs. They take up to 10 days already to clear - and if they don't your item can be off the market for 2 weeks before you can relist. I have no idea how this will affect tax paid, if at all, as ebay just take 10% GST for Aussie buyers from abroad but nothing from domestic sellers. I have a feeling this will be the first step towards the Aussie Govt getting their chare at source, rather than at tax return time. We shall see!
  16. Do you have a store or are you low volume? Dunno why you can't it lets me set exactly that You need to set it to zero feedback buyers.
  17. Set your preferences to block zero feedback buyers who have joined in the last 30 days. It's in your account preferences.
  18. Good for you with the #266 You deserved some good fortune for the work you put in. Nice score my friend!
