Yeah, they announced it some while back. I posted right here in CG about it - because they actually started doing it before Nov 1st in Australia despite setting that date. They aren't doing themselves any favours currently - I think a lot of ebays future is tied to the fact that too many people have so much stock listed (not particularly comics) that moving to etsy or Amazon is just a ball-tearer. I'd like to know the USA/Aus difference please In the cold light of day over here I get 1500 listing in my store (wether I use them all or not) for $60 - thats 4c a month. Or if you sell a heap of cheap drek like I do - 48c a year to keep an item in front of millions of people. We do NOT get ebay bucks, but the occasional code (it's POTTER currently) - that gives between 3 - 10% discount on certain items. We do not get mail pick-ups - it's all go to your PO yourself. We can opt out of everything - especially the GSP, and 'staggered payments' - we also have the ability to 'request a call' from ebay - they usually respond in 90 secs at most. Our search function is very poor - it's hard to separate foreign sellers who will/will not sell to Australia. I have a registered USA address on ebay as well - but if sellers have marked 'no international sales' - then you cannot even send them a message to say you have a USA addy- which is wierd. We also have without doubt, the worst 'cart' system in the history of online shopping. It really makes it hard for buyers to combine shipping/request invoice if they are new. You have to commit to buy - not pay - go back, commit to the next - not pay, go back etc etc until you are done and then 'request invoice'. To make it hard ebay pops a message up 'pay for it quickly before you lose the item' - so noobies end up paying postage on each item ir walking away. Whats different in the USA?

I think a few people might have just choked on their breakfast! I certainly flip books for $$ - but I use all that money to buy personal collection books - this is one of only 48 in that personal collection group - none of which are for sale unless I upgrade or have a family emergency (as I did 2 yrs ago when my wife had a stroke along with fighting cancer). I bought an AF #15 at a high point in the market during the current god-awful exchange rate as well to make it worse. It should be here very soon and will be on my wall until I sell off my whole collection or die. It's the first app of Spider-man - the kid I grew up reading about, sharing the great moments and the terrible losses. It's one of the greatest, if not the greatest Marvel Character. I own the 1st app of Spider-Man. If I lost half my money - I could not care less. The memories alone will more than make up for it.

Nail. On. Head. I honestly think some people believe that the 18yr old Phillipino girl reading their messages are comic freaks who have CGC books and hot books everywhere at home. They aren't and they don't. Their next job after your email will be to sort out the disaster on a microwave having a different coloured handle, the next that a jumper is too tight across the chest despite them ordering the right size.The fact that their newly ordered cat basket can only fit 2 cats in at once instead of the 3 advertised. And so forth. You have to clearly identify what the buyer is complaining about - then explain either : 1) How it is incorrect or 2) Make them contact the buyer for proof of defect Do neither and they just literally hit the "computer says no" button, tick off their KPI's and move on. They don't care about your grading skills or post count. They just want to know how YOU are going to disprove the complaint, or how you will make it right.

Did you ring them? Did you get them to pull up the ebay message that said - 'yes these books are 9.8' from the buyer? Did you ask ebay/paypal to contact the buyer and send in pics of this hairline "printing defect"? If you didn't, why would you expect a clone to do it for you? These guys kill for these ebay jobs - the wages are way above average, they aren't going to rock the boat unless you force them. They have targets to meet, and ticking off the buyers complaint asap meets one such target. Cause them to possibly miss that target and they will pay much more attention to your cause. You are dealing with 38 stories of cloned Phillipino -script-readers who want nothing more than to just make every complaint go away asap - so they keep their job. Currently, you are making it as easy as possible for them to do just that. Make it hard. And this - well, it just doesn't address the complaint at all. He/she could not care less how many feedbacks you have, or how long you have been on ebay, or how well you grade. They want you to explain why the buyer is wrong. You haven't in any way,shape or form. I'd side with the buyer as well, based on this. I still have no idea what his complaint was - and neither will the ebay rep, unless they go look through all your ebay messages, which they won't. I appreciate you are angry - but use the damn phone!!

1) Stop using numerical grades. NM is subjective and gives wriggle room - 9.4 does not. 2) Use the damn phone. 3) Use the damn phone again 4) Keep using the damn phone until they get sick of you 5) Every time you phone, go above the head of the last person you rang. 'No returns' doesn't matter - if item is not as described or damaged, you have to take the hit. - So use the damn phone, and get paypal/ebay to contact buyer and request pics of their gripe with your book. If you are going to sell stuff as definately 9.8 - the slightest cbc will give them an out - so don't - NM/NM+ gives you some wriggle room to argue. No good griping on here - get on the phone to ebay and paypal, argue your side and make them step in for YOU - demand pics from buyer, packaging pics etc. It's amazing how many people suddenly want to be more amienable when they have to prove their case. It suxs - I really do get it,but sometimes the buyer is right as well. All ebay/paypal want is their fees - and they will take the easy road every time. Make it hard for them - I'm still battling a 4 month old dispute. I got to keep my money, now I'm still arguing to get the unreasonable neutral removed - and will keep requesting a call-back every few days until it's gone. Yeah - what the hell is 'ebays managed payments system'?? Here's a hint - opt out of everything but the basics (inc global seller hub) - makes life easier. Oh yeah - RING THEM UP. Give 'em hell. Then ting them again, and again, and again. As long as you are in the right.

Sir Percy has been confirmed already so you may be right, or as you say, we are both talking bollox! The only reason I thought Black Knight with Ant-Man and The wasp, was that the BK was their major nemesis at one time.

I think a heck of a lot of people didn't know that Dani Cage was going to be the new Thor as most of the chatter was about Jane Foster. That left a lot of time for people to play catch-up. I can't play the modern game CGC wise as Joey is just too slow to get a book to CGC and back and then to me in Australia while the heat remains, so I rarely bother. Postage time alone is 4-6 weeks for Aus - USA - Aus. With this book (and #12) as it slipped under the radar, I had time to get a couple to CGC so I can play as well for a change. I think within the next 2 weeks both #11 (Dani Cage as Thor 'Cameo') and #12 (1st full Dannielle cage as Thor) will be common knowledge. I can't remember the last time USA dealer were letting key books go on the 'bay for cover price! Be interesting to see which book does best - this really is Hulk #180/181 all over again. A lot of people have bundled #11 + #12 together, such is the uncertainty wether #11 will be labelled a cameo and #12 a full app. I guess we will see!

Has to be vs The Black Knight surely? Nathan Garrett - they defeat him, so at the end he reveals the whereabouts of Sir Percy's sword to Dane Whitman (Kit Harrrington). I know Harrington is in The Eternals, but I think he won't actually be seeking to be the Black Knight until the very end of The Eternals - when he is watching Ant-Man and The Wasp kill Garrett.As we all know Garrett urges Whitman to restore the honour of the Black Knight. So basically this film in 2022 will be set at the end of the the 2020 Eternals. Garrett has to be in there somewhere otherwise Dane Whitman can't find the sword to actually BE The Black Knight (and Whitmans intro to The Avengers is when they attack him thinking he is Garrett) - and Feige has already said he's signed up for 3 movies. Eternals Ant-Man #3 Captain Britain and The Black Knight (aka Excalibur) Or, I'm talking bollox. Again.
