I agree with Simplyrob. I too have been hunting one down recently. I picked mine up raw at $280.00 CGC'ed it and got a 9.8 I think GPA is an alright tool. But, as you ponited out it is not able to collect every single sale. So, people who think the book should be $400.00 because of GPA need to realize that if every copy was sold at $400 how would the book ever go up in value? Just my two cents...which in Canada if rounded down means Zero Cents

Amazing Spider-Man #529 Civil War tie in New Spidey Armor. I sold two copies yesterday $25.00 each via Kijiji.

I sent mine in on August 28, 2014 through third party and nothing yet. I checked with third party and all they said was they have the books but are not in que yet to be graded. All the SS books and reholders were completed.

I passed only because my LCS already had issue #1 priced at $8.00

The Walking Dead #115 works out to be roughly 20, 700 Copies per cover, but we all know Owners would have ordered different on each cover making it a shoot to know the exact number for each cover.

Usually Lackey's and Customers from Store X will go to Store Y.

Store Y should be keeping tabs on what his/her stuff is worth. End of the day Store Y will sell out and make money, even if store X may make a killing. The only bad thing here is Customers getting raked over the coals if they missed out and can only find the comic at Store X at a huge marked up price. I have seen this happen many times.

Marvel Bastards even cancelled Scarlet Spider. Which for me was a favourite Art and Story wise.

Just finished reading issue #2 and I am loving this series. Cannot wait to finish #3-5.

It's not a dumb comment to point out that books some people are posting as "heating up" are in fact, not heating up, but cooling down. This is the heating up thread after all. In fact, the particular issue (X-O Manowar 1 GOLD) sold for $43, which is less than the "retail" price this comic sold for on DCBS when this comic was first released. I cannot remember if this was sold on DCBS for $100 or $150 originally. I am honestly not understanding the issue here. If someone post misinformation, we should just ignore it? Here is what you posted; These went for $100 out of the gate and this one just sold for less than $50. Is this the cooling off thread? You picked on Whetteon for providing information...yet he believes it to be heating up because he was obviously not aware what it originally retailed at. So, you poked at him. So, maybe you could have replied and said something like just letting you know this book originally costed whatever and has not apprecaited at all. That or something close might have worked better.

Whetteon - maybe some of these people think you know the original price for everything? Thus, the dumb comments. I for one enjoy your informational posts, please keep 'em coming.

Yep, I trust the man as he has never done me wrong yet. The #6 has ugly scoff marks near the staples. So, I may just get the #1-5 and have him lower the price to reflect this. Thank you for your opinion ComicsNYC22
