  1. Quick question what online service do board members recommend who are located in Canada?
  2. case in point. I actually enjoyed the Season Finale where others did not.
  3. Now do not get me wrong I love Merle and Daryl's characters and feel they added to The Walking Dead lore. Somethings were done great and other things not so much. But you cannot please everyone.
  4. To be honest I almost stopped watching The Walking Dead due to Season 1 due to Shane not getting capped by Carl and the whole CDC thing. But, my love of The Walking Dead has kept me watching and I only hope they start showing us the viewers why the comics is so damn good. I understand Kirkman and CO are trying different things to keep the readers interested to, but some of the comic material should be transfered t o the show.

  6. From my point of view, the only good thing Andrea was good for was helping viewers who have not read the comic figure out who the villains were by them. Other then that she was annoying and I wish Dale left her at the CDC to die.
  7. I'm just trying to clarify what YOU said. I get that if you have stated that you don't ship to international destinations people are wrong to bid. I just don't understand why you feel it is appropriate to 'way overcharge' them. When you've been here a little longer you will begin to see that reputation and ethics are valued highly. I find your policy of knowingly overcharging to be questionable. But by all means continue in your passive aggressive responses. (thumbs u I have to agree with Whizzer on this one overall.
  8. Ryan, Marvel...she will appear at the end of Age of Ultron.
  9. Hey hey....I'm sure there's like 1000 broads out there reading this comic!!! Would account for 1/10 of the readership. I would read the issues I have, as they're supposed to be good, but I'm scarred to even look in the same room that they're in. I picked up the 1st trade and was not impressed at all. But, that's just my humble opinion.
  10. So far so good and thank you for the link.
  11. Darryl Dixon is an AMC property I do no see him dying anytime soon.
  12. Just finished reading Issue #1 and I really enjoyed the story and even art thus far. Cannot wait to read #2 which is sitting in a huge pile of comics I am behind on reading.
  13. Is the complete Winter Soldier story worth buying, or just #14? I snagged that one at a LCS today, but they had the rest of the storyline as well. If cover price, why not. It is also a good read.
  14. Does anyone have any spare Forbidden Planet Bedlam #1's for sale?
  15. I can't seem to find these on Comickaze's page, anyone have a direct link? http://comickazeonline.webs.com/ They only made 50 copies available for online sales so I would buy quickly... Thank you for the link, Purchased 3 Copies.
  16. Anyone willing to sell me a copy since everyone is either sold out or yet to put them up for sale?
  17. i think that was the point, to get as many as he possibly could. Personally, I think they should have made him eat 1000 and go bankrupt , simply for trying to get an entire print run of a book. I am sure many other stores tried the same thing, but would not admit it.
  18. i think that was the point, to get as many as he possibly could. Personally, I think they should have made him eat 1000 and go bankrupt , simply for trying to get an entire print run of a book. How can you force someone to buy 1000 copies if the company changes the rules?
  19. you think your buddy would have got 1000 copies if it had stayed at 1000 print run? of course not....he did it to get a least one copy if not more once allocation hit.
  20. My buddy ordered 1,000 copies when it was originally solicted as 1,000 print run. A couple days later Diamond e-mails him and advises that the issue was now order what you want and it would be filled. The e-mail stated that Image would allow him to cut his order by 50% since they changed the item from limited to all you want. So, that would be 500 copies. Well my Buddy was like Nuck that and complained due to it being Image who changed it on retailers he should be allowed to change his order to what he wants and not what they will allow. Diamond e-mailed him the day after and advised that his order was cancelled and he was free to order whatever amount he wanted. Needless to say he only ordered 10 copies.
  21. Thats what i want to know. It is weird. My best guess is that there are a handful of collectors who think the normal diecut #13 is actually the variant, and that the dark-Joker-with-mirror-&-lipstick #13 is the 'regular version' sold off the racks (because honestly, that's what I would have thought if I didn't read these boards and couldn't get to a shop). It doesn't explain why they didn't buy cheaper copies of the diecut ones, but at least explains why they might have been willing to overpay. I agree with you. Some people are expecting the covers that were solicted and not the die cut covers which people are selling and claiming them to be what the are not...Variants. Cue Sarcasm. That'll endear people to the hobby and keep them around. That is why I mentioned it. Sellers are out to make money, but why ripoff a potential repeat customer?
