Hello All, I didn't even know this thread existed until today! Had I known I would have been posted my commissions! I see some very nice commissioned artwork here and would like to show the few I have with several more to come! Stay tuned! Here is my very first one done by the great Manuel Sanjulian! I contacted him via email with my conceptual idea and he was very happy to oblige me! (thumbs u This has Wonder Woman vs Cheetah throwing down in Central Park in NYC! In the background you can see the Angel of Bethesda Fountain & the Empire State Building. It is currently my only painting done entirely in an oil medium. This is a nice commission done by Gene Espy of Spidey vs Green Goblin on the Brooklyn Bridge! Nice B & W commission I have to say with great detail. If you since a New York theme, yes it's my home town. A Brooklynite born & raised! Here you have Storm over the Serengeti of Tanzania working her mutant powers with Mt. Kilimanjaro in the background. The detailing in this artwork is probably Mr. Koufay's best work to date! I have another commission due by him this week, so stay tuned people! [/b] [/b]

I'm not sure, but there should be. For some reason I have always been a sucker for purple covers so I have always loved the first Reverse Flash appearances. Yeah, I'm sure there is one somewhere. (thumbs u As far as I could see there are very few TMNT #1 CGC SS Eastman & Laird 1st print high grade copies circulating and I was fiending for a copy! Sure, I could have easily bought a copy without the sigs, or a universal copy with sigs on the inside, but for me the dual sigs of both creators on the cover was an absolute necessity! I don't use GPA and was curious to find out what were some of the biggest Whitman sales of 2013? I was searching in Google and found these two: Uncle Scrooge #179 CGC 9.6 - $3,350? Black Hole #4 CGC 9.8 - $2,634 in June 2013 Are there any other sales that have come close to these recently? If so, the Whitman appreciation thread may get a lot busier for 2014!
