  1. No pedigree is correct, though the description can go either way it seems. Most 'collection' comic books if not all will denote that status on the label. Pedigrees on the other hand will have the original owner name or region that the books were found, i.e.- Edgar Church, Davis Crippen pedigrees or Don & Maggie Thompson collection. However, with the new CGC labels, I don't know if this has change for newly discovered estates/collections. Here is the description from my lot: About the Pedigree:? The John G. Fantucchio collection is a CGC recognized pedigree that includes nearly every comic published by Marvel and DC Comics from the inception of the Marvel era through the mid-70s. Rounding out the collection are many high-grade comic books from other publishers including Charlton, Gold Key, Dell, ACG, Tower, Warren and others. The books were collected by artist John G. Fantucchio and stored in ideal conditions. The result is a collection of beautifully preserved comic books with bright, bold colors and near newsstand-fresh page quality. John Fantucchio was one of the most prominent artists during the early days of comic fandom. He created hundreds of covers and illustrations for fanzines such as Rocket's Blast Comic Collector, Fantastic Fanzine, Comic Crusader, The Buyer's Guide For Comic Fandom, and others.
  2. Thanks Bob, I'm proud to own this nice book indeed!
  3. My much sought after new collection acquisition, John G. Fantucchio pedigree to boot‼️Very HTF in this grade, I'm stoked‼️?
  4. Very nice copy, epic battle and excellent pedigree at that‼️Congrats‼️
  5. Hello All, Here is an excellent opportunity to own a part of comic book history folks! There is "rare" and there is "unique." Here's an example of the latter -- only one copy of the variant "Cover B" was ever printed, and it's offered right here! The issue celebrated the one millionth copy of My Little Pony sold and is considered one of the rarest comics in existence. I bought this comic book 4 years ago as a heavily marketed collaborative through Heritage Auctions, Hasbro & IDW Publishing. The proceeds from the sale of this collectible going to Give Kids the World, a nonprofit organization that fulfills the wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses. Bid with confidence my friends! You don't have to be a My Little Pony fan to know that this will only become a timeless treasure as the years go by, so don't pass up this chance to own a truly unique collectible. https://comics.ha.com/itm/modern-age-1980-present-/humor/my-little-pony-friendship-is-magic-12-cover-b-sara-richard-1-million-edition-idw-publishing-2013-cgc-nm-96-white-page/a/7169-92218.s?ic2=myconsignmentspage-lotlinks-12202013&tab=MyConsignment-112816

  7. Did you get the #106 from this auction or from before? Are you sure there are lots of Marvel keys out there? I just looked at my collection and I didn't see any! I obtained my #106 through a private sale earlier this year. Compared to DC keys, there are an abundance of Marvel keys.
  8. The #105 was a 7.5 - probably all I could afford right now, given the other purchases I managed. Great PU!
  9. No problem. Too bad you couldn't get both. Flash #106 is extremely HTF in high grade. It took me several years to finally snag my copy. Flash #139 is a very underrated key, but with results like this collectors are truly noticing it's significance and the bitter rivalry between the Flash & Professor Zoom. You still think 139 is underrated, I love the tv show flash and I think Tom cavs naught did a fantastic job playing reverse flash in season 1, but I know the book had a huge price spike. I bought my 139 4.0 and sold it to upgrade to a 7.5/8.5 but looks like that's out of my range now. Still eye balling that 8.0 on eBay now though Yeah I do, especially when compared to other SA DC keys. Unless you have a 9.0 & up copy, I feel Flash #139 is grossly undervalued. I feel prices such as the recent CC sale will become more prevalent for this book and all Flash keys as we get closer to the movie release. That is if more of them hit the market.
  10. Yeah, I was in a number of the Flash auctions which were all going extended time and I had just secured the #105. That meant I was only going to go after either the #106 or the #139. I realize that #106 was a very favorable grade, but I just wanted the #139 more. Hopefully, somewhere down the line I can secure a HG copy of #106 as well. When you have a strong auction with many desirable issues, it can be very tough to get them all! Cool, you got a Flash #105 too! What grade was that copy? I have ~4 more issues to complete my Flash key villains run personally. I like both of them #106 & #139 very much, but since #106 has the origin and 1st appearances of both Gorilla Grodd & the Pied Piper I had to have it. As you may know almost all the early SA Flash books are very scarce/rare in high grade compared to most Marvel keys.

  12. New Jay Anacleto Wolverine commission! I'm in heaven!
  13. New high $$$$ sales for HTF, high grade Flash keys on Comic Connect last night! Congrats to both sellers & buyers! Flash #106 CGC 8.5 ($6000) Flash #139 CGC 9.2 NFC ($5800)
  14. Nice! Welcome to the Land of Dreams! Hopefully, I can upgrade my 9.6 to a 9.8 someday.
  15. You have to be a little tricky nowadays to get the correct price close from ebay. I am not sure why ebay thinks it is a good idea to intentionally show misleading and incorrect price information. But GPA agrees with this screen shot. Thanks Craig for the info. This book has really sky-rocketed in the past 5 years or more in all grades.
  16. Anyone know the final sales price for this SW #1 CGC 7.5 thru GPA? A MOTO was accepted. Thanks. Star Wars #1 CGC 7.5 35 cent price variant
  17. Thanks Bob. I feel the same way buddy about the rare stuff!
