  1. Cool beans! You can point him in the right direction then.
  2. Thanks! Very nice - I want it Thanks! Sorry my man, you'll have to hunt down your own.
  3. Oh man, I so covet that #1113! I bought one way back in 1981-82 that's way below my present condition standards so replacing it is way high on my priority list. It's definitely an awesome book to own and has a beautiful cover. A high grade copy is the way to go for sure!
  4. Huh?! I see more than a few missing issues I want just the issues with the 1st appearance/origin of Flash Rogues. With the exception of #123 of course. If that's all you're buying, you should probably get a 129, 137, and 175 too. Besides the Flash #105 & #123 issues, I was contemplating #137 as well b/c of the 1st SA JSA appearance. I haven't decided yet for sure. My main focus are the SA Rogues though. I have a Superman #199 CGC 8.0 4x SS sot that's sufficient enough for me with the Supes/Flash race. I also would like a high grade Showcase #8 to add to the group.
  5. Yeah that's true, but that would mean many more books for me to add.

  7. :hi:Bob and thanks for the praise of my book! Nice stash you have there my friend. As stated earlier in the thread, that #123 would go great with my run. I know where to come when I'm ready for one. While we're at it, here are my D & M Thompson books: [/img]
  8. Thanks buddy! Your #123 is awesome! I have a few D & M Thompson Flash's as well. This book would compliment my run very well!
  9. A hard fought bidding war that was! Yeah it definitely is a beauty. I personally think Flash 105-110 are the toughest DCs to find above 6.0. Including the Showcases. They're definitely up there. It has taken me 2+ years to obtain my issues in high grade for the right price. I have the following in 8.5 & up: Flash #106, #110, #112, #113, #117, #122, #128, #139 & #140. All I need now is a #105 & #123.

  11. A brutally tough issue to find in that condition! It may be the toughest Flash of them all to find. Thanks! The SA Flash keys are definitely in short supply. I'm blessed to have found this baby in high grade! Be very proud of this book. Very hard to find in HG with nice PQ and has a gorgeous cover!! I'm very proud of it buddy! It has been on my radar for a while now, but I was trying to be patient until the right copy came up for sale. Thanks for the kind words my friend! An 8.0 copy sold on CC sometime last year, but I bought a Flash #110 CGC 9.0 instead. Now I own both of them and I'm happy I waited.

  13. Newly acquired and very HTF high grade Flash #106! Enjoy peeps! I sure will!
  14. Whoa! Awesome book! Thanks my friend! It took a long time to get my hands on this 35 center for sure.
  15. New, long evasive IF #14 35 cent price variant added to my collection.
  16. I hear you on that one Jay. By the way, whatever happened to that SC4 CGC 9.6 with an asking price of $900K+ that was on CL last year? I think that one would probably top $320+ in today's market.
  17. I think it will do ~50K even with the DC movie hype machine. I predict this one will do >$70K. That fugly IH #1 CGC 8.0 went for $64K last November and this is a much better copy. http://www.comicconnect.com/bookDetail.php?id=645911 There are a bunch of them out there.
