  1. Hey Eric! What kinda chronic is that you're smoking in Canada? Hulk is still #2 SA book behind AF #15! Its not legal here...Yet. JT is working on that. Market has spoken Sales for SC4 much less often, but think we can both agree they are all higher All you need is a prescription for the glaucoma if you can't see that IH #1 smash SC4!. How about for high grade copies of SC4? Though many don't come to market that often. That's all he can do. Hulk smash Don't think there has been a public offering of a high grade SC4... http://www.comicconnect.com/bookDetail.php?id=650475 (will be fun to watch) Wrong answer! Yeah, that SC4 CGC 7.5 will be interesting. What do you predict it will go for? By the way I like both, just Hulk little more.

  4. Here are a few new acquisitions to my CAF gallery! Enjoy! From Esquire Magazine, April 1935 issue: [/img] Morrie Turner Wee Pals comic strip OA 1983: [/img]
  5. Here is a new OA I've added to my collection in the past week: This is a WEE PALS syndicated color comic strip from the pioneering Artist /Illustrator Morrie Turner (1923-2014). This artwork is dated 12-26-1983 and once belonged to retired Bengals Pro-Bowl WR Isaac Curtis! Here is more about this famed & legendary artist: Morrie Turner Wiki
  6. A noble project to be sure! I was gonna do this for Spidey key villains, but they're too expensive for the earlier issues. Plus, Flash books are a lot rarer in high grade copies for sure.
  7. .... I always loved this cover but never read the story......I owned one briefly and should have taken the time..... GOD BLESS.... -jimbo(a friend of jesus) ...... and 137........ one of my favorite covers.... what a rainbow it is.......... Yes it is an awesome cover! Infection was brilliant!
  8. Awesome Flash #140! Thx. Sounds like you have a killer run so congrats right back at ya! Thx buddy! I'm working on it. For the key villain appearances only though! I have a nice Flash #140 CGC 9.2 D & M Thompson copy!
  9. Will those complete your run? Yes it will, but not entirely! I'm trying to obtain all the 1st appearances & origins of the Flash main villains from the SA run. I only want high grade copies (8.0 & up) so it may take me more time. I already have Flash #110, 112, 113, 117, 122, 128, 139 & 140 all CGC 8.5 & up! The other ones I'll consider buying if they come up are Showcase #8, 13 & 14.
  10. Thanks buddy! Now all I need is high grade copies of Flash #105, 106 & 123.
  11. Here is my new contribution to the Flash thread! Enjoy!
  12. I agree that the making of this IH #1 was flawed from the beginning and not a bad press job. That's still an impressive amount of money for this specimen!
  13. Hello Guys, Any idea what the final hammer on this IH #1 CGC 8.0 will be on CC? Currently at $61K! I'm gonna guess $70-75K respectively! IH #1 CGC 8.0 on Comc Connect
  14. Hello All, Checkout my new Superman vs Darkseid collaborative commission by legends Boris Vallejo and Julie Bell! Superman vs Darkseid oil painting
  15. Thanks buddy! (thumbs u Hopefully, I can bump it several more times to come in the future.
  16. Here is another recent acquisition to my growing Flash keys! I was gonna do all the Spidey keys, but they're too expensive and common. I like how the Flash keys are very rare in higher grades.
  17. You paid $6,572.50 for that...??!!!! Woowzers. The proceeds of that sale went to charity. -J. Right you are my friend! (thumbs u
  18. You paid $6,572.50 for that...??!!!! Woowzers. As Jay said, the proceeds went to charity. And maybe he bought it for his kid? Or maybe he likes owning something nobody else has, or won't have, as long as he keeps it? Hope this is not another case of "what I collect rules, and what you collect sucks?" I bought it for a good cause as you stated. The marketing and PR for the sale of this book through HA was unprecedented. (thumbs u I also like owning unique & low print variants/comic books. With this book, I know I have the only one. I passed on the OA because to me if no other books were gonna be made, the OA was not more sought after than the book itself. That's probably why the book out sold the OA too. Also, The 12 MLP:FIM #12 variant copies celebrating the selling of 1 million MLP:FIM comic books consistently sell for $3K or more when they come to market. So I have no doubt that if I sold my 'Only 1 copy exits' MLP:FIM #12 variant that I would recoup my monies and probably more. After all, there are plenty of Bronies out there that would love to own it, that's another reason the hammer price finished as high as it did. (thumbs u The My Little Pony franchise has been around for over 30+ years and I don't see them going anywhere no time soon.
