  1. Just picked this up recently. A personal grail for me.
  2. Thanks! Yeah, I saw some of those totals. I paid more for this one than I thought I’d have to. C’est la vie.
  3. Snagged this last night. I wish it had better page quality, but I think the positives outweigh that fact. This is not a book you see too often. Looking back on the past sales, it seems that this one was originally from the Prospect Mountain Collection. Anyway, I love it!
  4. Bought a nice precode book from Lucjan and it went super smooth. Friendly, great communication, fast shipping, blast proof packaging. I would be glad to deal with Lucjan again! Thanks 🙏
  5. Picked these up recently. I never really had intentions of collecting these. But they are beautiful, classic covers and I think are still undervalued. The #17 is from the Harlan Ellison collection.
  6. I am trying to build the run. I’m only about a third of the way there.
  7. Last one for the year just arrived. Cool flamethrower cover from 1943!
  8. These are my favorites from this year. Thanks to everyone in the golden age forum for sharing their knowledge and pics of amazing books. It’s been a fun year. Happy holidays to all!
  9. If I had known someone would shell out 90k, I would have taken the plunge this past summer. Maybe minus a limb or two...but I digress.
  10. Upgrade on the left just arrived. If the seller is a member here, I say thank you for the professional packing skills.
  11. I love everything Elias. But I’ll pick this one for today. Happy Halloween!
  12. Thanks for sharing. I like the pics even when they are upside down.
  13. No fancy watches here, but this is less than half of the guitars I own right now. These three are my babies. I’ve played, collected and traded most of my life. Left to right: 2015 limited edition Fender Longboard Stratocaster - Limited to 500 worldwide. 1970-74 Gibson Les Paul Custom. It’s hard to get an exact date on some of these years as the numbering and record keeping were a bit spotty at the time. Most times you can look at the numbers on the volume or tone pots and get close. Gibson’s serial numbering did not become standardized until 1977. 198? mongrel strat that has been my Frankenstein for 30+ years. It’s had different necks and electronics multiple times. It is like an old friend and is the most comfortable to play.
