  7. Still working on the Spotlight GR run and main title 1-10. I may try to upgrade the MS 5 at some point this year. The GR 1 I bought from Ed Kalb back in 81 or 82. Anyway, a little group shot.
  8. I fell out of the local loop years ago as I got married and started raising a family. Basically stopped collecting. As I am getting older now and gaining more free time back, my goal is to maybe start making some shows again. The only comic book shops in my vicinity mainly just deal in gaming and new product, neither of which are of interest to me. Currently, this forum is my main connection to the hobby.
  9. Great story! Thanks for sharing. Makes me wish I had a collector friend nearby. None of the friends I have in my life now are interested in comics.
  10. In the mid 70's I started out reading Archie comics. Around 78 I began to really get into some of the Marvel super hero books. Mainly Avengers and X-men. On weekends, I would press my folks to take me to flea markets and yard sales to try to find comics. The first real deal comic shop opened in our town in the early 80's. It was always the best days whenever I could get a ride to the shop! Fever pitch early on was the Wolverine LS.
