  1. Why is it that some sellers (who've been doing this here for a while) can't seem to get a decent size scan up, and never bother with a BC scan? Could it be they have something to hide? hm Or are they just lazy? hm Or do they just not give a rip? hm hm Some of them have even made their scans smaller over time . . .

  3. I'd wait till Nov, then nominate the boardie and keep the $100 if he hasn't paid by then. I disagree, the 30--day period was already built-in to the time payment - nominate the buyer post haste.
  4. If you don't care about the community why follow the rules? This place is a community I thought it was just a place to come and oogle hot chicks in sig lines Or avatars . . .
  5. Sounds like the deal has gone south to me.
  6. I also find it amusing that someone can ask $6,000 for a book and not even provide a back cover scan . . . Never mind a failure to disclose.
  7. Perfectly reasonable. It's clear he presses comics, tons of them. And it's clear he won't be disclosing proactively unless forced to do so. How did you arrive at that claim? I did not say that I would not pro-actively disclose pressing. In fact, in the thread in the general in response to Mac Man, I said that I would. Nonetheless, you are correct in your assumption that the pool of pressed books is in increasing in size. Sorry man, it's hard to keep up with all the threads. But you have said, quite a few times, stuff like this: I still hold those beliefs. I don't think pressing is restoration. However, because of outspoken public opinion to the contrary, I am compelled to engage in the pro-active disclosure of pressing regardless of my beliefs. Took a while for you to come around . . .

  9. A tad over-the-top, don't you think? Maybe a little... but my Grandma's name was Betty. I said great grandma .. . .
  10. (thumbs u Good luck on your full return.
  11. It's your silly scenario, not mine And from your tone, I don't think we'll be doing business anytime soon . . .
  12. Nor I. I don't care if your dog died either . . . That's beside the point. This isn't about punishment, it's about awareness.
  13. woof! I do care, but you missed my point entirely.
  14. I really don't disagree with you at all on that point, but I do like the fact that sometimes Discussion Thread activity can circumvent a problem even when that problem is very close to to or even over the threshold for inclusion on the List. I agree that anytime discussion results in a resolution, it's a good thing.
  15. Y'know, I'm getting tired of all the hairsplitting around here. If you fail to make good on a transaction within the 30-day period (which is already a gracious amount of time) you should go on the list. Sorry, but I honestly don't care if you lost your job, or if your great grandma betty died. There are many good sellers and buyers here that have lost their jobs and have had serious personal problems impact their lives. The purpose of the list is not to serve as penance, but to serve as a warning to the community that someone doesn't have his act (as a buyer or seller) in order. On another note, I've heard rumblings that we are about to add another "artist" to the list . . .
  16. Nope, the original owner submitted it like that. It's clearly a production flaw. Yep, if you search the issue, it's quite common.
  17. This kind of defeats the entire purpose of feedback, no? No? Yes, take a look at what we have now.
