  1. You accept checks from foreign countries? Not worth it to me.
  2. You are quite mistaken . . . they have 30 days to make BAD Payments should typically be made within a few days and generally no longer than a week, unless other arrangements or communications have been made. 50 Cents jerked me around for a month, never paid me, and then succeeded in making some lame-azz argument that since I hadn't told him to hit the freakin' low road that I had accepted his repeated excuses for tardiness . . . and tardiness . . . and finally deadbeat. Then Mr. High Roller had the audacity to suggest that it was only $25 and an apology (with gremlins) should suffice. As far as I'm concerned, he should be the bricks and mortar of the list. "Payments should typically be made within a few days and generally no longer than a week, unless other arrangements or communications have been made." divad, is this posted in the guidelines? If not, I think it should be, if in fact this is the suggested course of action. I think the "30 day" thing can be confusing. Comments anyone? Guidelines/schmidelines it's common courtesy. The only people who have taken longer than a week to pay (without asking up front) have all turned out to be non-payers. Yes, I agree - Payment guidelines should be part and parcel. Why don't you send Arch a PM?

  4. Well, I suggest you wait to hear from him before you let it bother you too much. I've been waiting a week for a response to one of my PM's in a similar situation . . .

  7. Wow - someone's got their panties in a bunch . . .
  8. This blasphemy should qualify Henchman for immediate addition to the Probation list. Divaaaaaaad!........ I would have thought that his selection of Krappy books alone, was warning enough . . . but you can never figure out the buying habits of our "astute members"
  9. Is that a riddle? Silly, the book belongs to you until an offer is made, and you accept it.
  10. I agree. Moderators notified. Not that I don't take it seriously, but any measure of sincerity is hard to swallow when it's being spouted from Radovan Delic's sandbox. I had to shut off signatures because my daughter often runs into the office while I'm "working" (ha-ha!) and looks over my shoulder.

  13. has always been gospel either in a PM or in the sales thread. There is no rule that says that, but we all agree on that. It's when a is NOT a i.e., when conditions are attached, when the problems arise.
  14. Yes, but people do happen to think and operate differently.
  15. Fretting so much over a $20 book is equally ridiculous. If he doesn`t pay, put him on the list by all means, but don`t get so hung up over it. It`s $20. That won`t even buy you 3 beers in a bar in Manhattan anymore. You've been away for a while . . . $20? Try $40 A friend of mine was at Bemelman's last weekend - he said the tab on two martini's was $75 (of course there was live music, but . . . )
  16. Time to let it go . . . when 30 days are up, we put him on the list and he stays there forever . . . just like what's his name Forever? I thought if an understanding mutual to both parties was reached, the name would be removed? Yes, that's the case, but look at our own "unforgiving Pirate" Short of free Shiatsu massages for life . . . the dude is not going to reach a "mutual" understanding.

  18. Sale threads titled: "The Best Sales Thread on the Block! " You prefer Warlord's: CGC Ready! CGC Quality! CGC It! Minty Freaks Only!
  19. Wait, brillaint idea! *7 day sales threads *Thread is viewable but no longer active after the 7 days *Option to put thread into your "Store Inventory"(fee applies) *CGC starts charging thread insertion fees, and maybe thread final value fees *CGC buys out popular funds-transfer operation so they can double-dip on fees *Boatloads of peeps post inaccrately graded/described items but CGC won't care because they will be raking it in! Naw, it'll never work. It just might
