  1. Yup. That's getting my vote. Post one new thread a day. Or add to one thread a day. The beauty of this is that you then can break your sales items down into as many threads as you think appropriate, given their nature, but you can't pimp more than one at a time. (thumbs u unless somebody bumps the various threads then we still end up with one person owning the front page That really can't be avoided. However, it would soon become apparent if certain individuals were using their beeyatches to do their dirty work. Anyone got Dad&Sons number No, but I know someone who does . . .
  2. So my Hulk #1 (CGC Graded 6.5) should have been in the same thread as my Avengers: The Crossing (CGC Graded 9.6)? Yes You don't actually know what either title is, do you? I know the first. Why you're selling the second is your business. for a junk-monger.
  3. I don't really care any more. It's not like anything will be enforced (equally or otherwise) around here.
  4. Very nice work . . . VERY nice work! (thumbs u
  5. Hell and a Handbasket I always wanted that issue in a 9.8.... I hear Dale's got a dozen of them . . .
  6. Could we take this discussion outside please?
  7. Hey Arch, Let's just set up a separate "Dale Roberts For Sale Forum". I mean he's just a nice guy and everything, and he just wants to sell some books . . . so what's the big deal? Let's cut him some slack and build his website for him right here in River City
  8. My bet is that someone's gonna start three new sales threads today . . .
  9. Who cares about this anyway? Just a bunch of overpriced mid-grade books Check out that ASM #50 Or the IM #1 :roflmao: Next thing you know we'll drag out the usual eBay 10-cent listing day suspects
  10. It's biding it's time, waiting for the best moment to strike! either that, or......, it's impotent. The probation list is a list, it doesn't take action.
  11. It's not nice to cheat the blind I always look for books in VERY good condition . . .
  12. Just pay Pirate the $20 you owe him and be done with all the whining!
  13. Yeah, I think there needs to be a change to this. If the seller/buyer holds a grudge for the other person not paying/going through with a deal, there is almost no chance for redemption and removal from the thread, because the offended person will probably never accept their apologies. You just picked the wrong guy to freak over. 50% or whatever his name is got off the list without paying And he's a total non-paying loser too.
  14. Of course, one could always troll the OP's posts and add a certain Linky-poo
  15. If you would keep people on the list longer than immediately after they rectify a problem, perhaps it would be easier for people to tell that someone's been on probation before. Just have Arch place a small notation by their avitar. Probation strike 1 ect. Both good ideas, but the concept crosses the self-policing / "don't want to be involved" lines that the Mods have expressed in the past.
  16. Tim, A good point, but I'm unclear on how to do that. On the other hand, it only took about 30 seconds to find this by searching his name in the Sales Forum:
  17. The guy is notoriously slow and has been on and off the probation list more than once. He certainly has a pattern and practice exactly as you have described your transaction. What I don't understand is why people keep coming back to buy his Krap . . . It's not like he has the GOODS or anything - he's a misguided modern monger with bad customer service and belongs on eBay - not here.
  18. Cranky . . . Please leave the tragically silly and snarkiness to the professionals!
  19. Much improved. Now can it appear only once perhaps? Instead of every page? Or did you fix that already?
  20. Sheesh, wish I'd thought of that . . . Hey dorkus, why don't you volunteer to rewrite the coding for all of your suggestions? Cuz I already got a job . . .
