  1. I would say that for most issues on the WD registry, but with HI being so rare, I think any grade will be beneficial. To put it another way, the majority of the people on the registry will have an empty slot.
  2. I wonder where he is getting $200 for FMV? http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=heroinitiative&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2776
  3. Wow. Whoever painted that did a great job! Awesome and congrats! Can't wait to see it.
  4. Any heat on other TV developments like Think Tank and Todd the Ugliest SomethingOrOther?
  5. heatin up! http://www.ebay.com/itm/330975068673?redirect=mobile Wow...any idea why?
  6. To counter your point, I think Zombies have garnered a much, much broader appeal over the last few years. Would you have guessed 10 years ago that Brad Pitt would be staring in a zombie movie? While the males of the previous two generations are the ones most likely to watch Peter Panzerfaust... My mother, wife, coworkers, younger nieces/nephews/cousins, recent high school and college graduates will more likely watch a drama set in a zombie apocalypse.
  7. I've read the first few issues only of PP. To be honest, I completely forgot it was based in WWII
  8. It's lost on me too I may as well just give you my slabs!
  9. Yes - congrats! I hope everything works out as you like it.
  10. As far as the "best" ones to slab, you can always go for the key issues, which would include deaths/first appearances of major characters. 1,2,7,19,27,33,46,48,53,61,63,92. These are also the most expensive ones, though, so good luck! The creators, Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard, appear regularly at comic shows. I'm not sure what is the best way to track that, though.
  11. Is eight people enough? I'd be in for that. -shawn count me in! count me in! im down!!
  12. I don't follow the WD census that closely. I'm assuming this is the first 10 of that issue rather than the first 10 of any issue...? Definitely not the first 10.0. A quick look at the registry shows there is a #7 10.0.
  13. Does he have a website/is this a regular business that he runs or is it just a personal/hobby thing? Since Dre doesn't accept new Image subs, I bet there are a few people on this thread who would like such a service.
  14. 111 is a key. 1st appearance of ThoseBackPages! I had to go WAY back to find this quote!
  15. That would be cool. Unfortunately, I don't follow sports but sounds fun!
  16. 53 first Abraham 61 Chew preview 63 Chew flip book 92 first Jesus 100 first Negan 108 first Ezekial
  17. Who do you use, if you don't mind? I've only ever found two other sub services akin to what Dre does.
  18. I dont think WD 2 had any mass issues, but it does have that all black back cover which highlights any flaws.
  19. Man, I completely forgot about the WW2 aspect. That certainly has broader appeal, but I would discount too much the broad appeal of zombies. I dislike horror movies, but I like zombies. Every female that I know likes zombie movies, but I feel I cant say the same for Peter Pan/WW2.
  20. He does. Dre=awesome. How many people on this thread have a WD sub with him?
  21. Not looking to argue, but want to discuss this point. You state "PP has the potential to be even bigger because it is based on a subject matter that appeals to a broader audience." I assume you are talking about it being based on Peter Pan? This isn't necessarily aimed only at Mike's Rack, so please anyone chime in: Is Peter Pan really a broader audience than the zombie genre?
