I'm not sure how I feel about selling the extra. On one hand, these were created to raise money for HI. On other hand, it depends on what HI's intent was for giving the extra blanks out. Was it specifically for them to sell to maybe "pay" for the time spend on the one that HI will actually auction off? If so, then I'm okay with it being sold. But if it was meant for the artist to practice on or what not, then that is not cool to sell.

You are talking about this one , right? According to the seller, it is an official variant: Sudyam received two copies of the blank cover - one was for himself and the other was to send back to HI.

Wouldn't be surprised if it did.

As far as the one with the cracked case and the auction having the same ID as the one he sent you: you'll notice that he has multiple copies for sale - he just listed one photo. The link you provided shows that there are two available.

In the TV show, they declared the cause of the zombie outbreak was a virus. However, I do not believe they have made that declaration in the book, right? Being immune would assume a virus is the culprit, but the book may have a different cause. Hell is full, magic, etc.

Nah, I don't see a cure coming. That would cue the wind down of the book.

I was going to say that BKV books don't tend to have variants. But there was the Ghost Variant for #7, and I think Ex Machina had a few variants.

If I had to put money on it, I would bet Andrea is going to die. Having a personal relationship with Rick is a death warrant. Look at his second in commands - Shane, Tyreese, Abraham, Glen. Lori, to a certain extent. Andrea is now in that same role, and I'll bet she's dead by the end of AOW.

So now we know who a***g is. It will be interesting to see if it goes for more than what it originally sold for. I'm guessing yes, given what the last few have ended at.

The thing about Abraham is that he wasn't just following Rick. He was a contemporary and an equal to Rick. He was a strong willed, convicted character. If he were still alive, and we were having the same discussion about Rick dying, I would be fine reading the book with Abraham in the lead.

I would rather Rick stay alive. For me, he is the driving force for the story, and it makes no sense to kill him off.
