    If Midtown isn't doing one, then I'm sure some in Jersey will. I was there visiting some family and visited some awesome shops. Zapp Comics was great as was Joker's Child.

    On the plus side for the seller, maybe he can use these recent sales to establish FMV and take a deduction on the difference between what he paid and what he sold them for. :shrug:

    I think they sold lower for a few reasons: 1 - money not going to a charity (auctions for charites receive a bump in price) 2 - lower grades (i.e. not 9.8).

    I saw that too. I feel sorry for him if that is his expectation - I wonder if he saw the price a 9.9 sold for last year and figured a 9.8 would be about half of that.

    Think these will sit for a very long time unless the registry guys need a 9.8. Most of the ones "Clavecindorado" is selling aren't 9.8's though. Which reminds me, I need to update that list. Wow, the Keown got a 7.5!
