  1. Amen. By looking at current summer prices, I way overpaid on my ECCC Govenor variant. And the WW variants seem to be dropping in price, too. I'm glad I waited until a few weeks ago to get my portland, but it looks like I could have picked it up $20 cheaper now Oh well.
  2. http://www.ebay.com/itm/The-Walking-Dead-112-Image-Expo-2013-exclusive-variant-pre-sale-ships-7-5-13-/231006060080?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item35c908be30 1st presale to pop on ebay for the 112 variant? Seller is asking for $200... I hope this isnt where the market settles on these. Why do you think these will be expensive, TBP? Last year's have come down a lot in price, it seems.
  3. Thats the Image Expo Variant, right? Well, at least it wont have a B&W variant like the last Image Expo...unless they flip the -script and make rarer COLOR variant!
  4. There is a tape measure extended next to the second or third picture on the right hand side. Its all made out of metal, very heavy. Ah, I see it now. The picture was so large it extended beyond the edge of my screen!
  5. Good call, Eric! That didn't even occur to me. That would make an awesome print...or (dare I say) a future variant?
  6. Oooo...exciting! Maybe not THE favorite show of mine, but definitely ONE of my favorites!
  7. Speaking of buying...Keown HI cover is up to $2435 http://www.ebay.com/itm/DALE-KEOWN-Hero-Initiative-Walking-Dead-100-ORIGINAL-cover-/300921270613?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item46104e3155
  8. Congrats! Did you get them at a good price? I still need the 78 and 88 variants, amongst a few others. Decent prices, $90/dlvd for the pair. Very decent indeed! Wow...it's good time to buy!
  9. While I will agree that I do not think there is a $500 premium on the black label, I do not have the data to support either hypothesis. Anecdotally, at least here on the boards, black labels command some type of premium but I cannot quantify it.

  11. I don't take it as negativity as much as a reaction to something they loved being priced out of their reach. I kind of feel the same way. I wouldn't mind a market correction (instead of a market crash) to make the high grade books a bit more affordable. After that, I don't think I care what happens to the market price. BUT I know I don't want a crash, because I think that would be detrimental to the comic and it's audience. Anyways, if you define a market correction as a decrease in price of at least 10% in a short period of time (see Investopedia and about.com), then the summer lull we are having now is tantamount to a correction. Now is good time to buy, especially if you believe the show has some legs on it.
  12. Yes, I believe that is the little girl zombie he shoots in the head...? that's what one of the comments was on FB. Its the opening scens from Episode #1. Shes actually the basis for the motion activated Walking Dead Zombie moving 'creature' Jim and I were mentioning earlier - if they come out again this year - I am so getting one! Imagine getting some friends round and that comes charging out of the dark growling and hissing..... That sounds frightening.
  13. I dont think the bubble has burst, not with another season on the way. This is amounting to a summer lull, which I see effecting prices across the board.
  14. Why do you hope it has burst? Are you looking to buy one
  15. Wow...now is the time to buy a WD 1 if you need one. This one just ended at $1645! http://www.ebay.com/itm/251289969772?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649
  16. I agree. I love Hickman, but it took until issue three for me to really "get" the story. Plus there is a real lull right now for selling prices. If you can, wait and sell them later.
