  1. I wouldnt, but then I also wouldnt get Stan Lee to sign any Marvel book, but some people do that, too.
  2. My guess is that they will show that happening, but it wont be a big thing. And as I recall
  3. I love the cover! It'll look great in a slab. Negan is an interesting character. He is really fun to watch...especially compared to Rick, who is glum most of the time.
  4. I'm sure this question has come up before, but the thread is a little lengthy to search so I'll just ask. Has anyone kept track of the slabs sold (via certification number) to see how often they are flipped?
  5. Seems like that is indicative of the summer lull between seasons, right? Check out the chart below, from sales on GPA. You can see prices flatten out between April and August.
  6. This black label sold on the boards on 4/8 for $2500 maybe - it went via PM. But around the same time (according to GPA) some sold btw $1998 and $2750. http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Main=294748&Number=6588392#Post6588392

It was listed for $2500. http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=6739132&fpart=1
  8. My I would love to own any of these covers (mostly for my OCD collection and registry) but I find it interesting that most of the artists chose to depict random zombies (Robertson, Portacio, Hembeck, Brerton, Staples, Kurth) instead of characters from the book (Purcell, McKone, Bates, Ottley). I think the Kurth cover is pretty sick. I'd love to have the Ottley, but that is going to go for insane money. Personally, I think that Ben Bates cover is chilling. From the last batch, I really like the Shah cover!
  9. If you buy one of these from Hero Initiative instead of donating to a charity, I wouldn't count on getting any deduction, if that type if thing matters to you. Usually, you have to reduce your contribution by anything you receive in return.
  10. Um...none. An LCS isn't like a magazine store or book store that get to return their unsold copies. Diamond doesn't take books back like this. You order whatever you order, and unsold stock becomes back issues. Your LCS is giving you a fish story. Jim Diamond may not take them back, but the publisher might. Isn't this (kind of) how the super rare Wolverine Deadpool RI cover came about? That wasn't technically a return for unsold copies, but a similar scheme. I do know that Diamond (or whoever distributed comics in the 90s) would take returns in this fashion. My LCS used to have a box of free cover less comics. I asked him what happened to the them, and he said he returned the covers for credit.

  19. I love Sixth Gun. I've been reading it since issue 4 or so and I'm glad its getting some secondary market love. Same for the Damned. I'll tell you, those Damned issues are tough to find. I was trying to find them when NO ONE was looking for them a few years ago and it took my a while to find all of them. Also, those in the know call it the illuminerdi.
  20. Man, I had to stifle my laughter because I'm at work. BTW, I think he deleted his posts.
