  1. Just the first trade. He appears in some of the War of Kings TPBs and maybe others. No hats. We're left with a meager selection of comics, the one Marvel Universe action figure, OA and a handful of trading cards for our Darkhawk fix. Am I missing anything? I seem to remember a t-shirt, back in the day... Yep, there was one that I know of. Is this it? It recently sold on ebay. I seem to remember one that had the style where the whole shirt had a graphic on it; Darkhawk was in color, and the rest was in black and white. Could be a false memory, though.
  2. Samuel Jackson - not young Robert Downey - not young Scarlett Johansson - young but not a very good actress but pretty to look at Chris Evans - young but ok actor Chris Hemsworth - better actor than Chris Evans Don Cheadle - old but very good actor Mark Ruffalo - good actor, not young Dave Bautista - not an actor Chris Pratt - is there a Chris theme going? funny guy and young! I wouldn't necessarily say Marvel is doing things better, just maybe DC is doing things differently. As for the catch up comment, last time I checked DC set the standard with Batman Begins and the Nolan trilogy. I really think that has had the domino effect of the movies we are enjoying today. Iron Man took the baton and ran with it. Why must there be a need to compare etc, let's just enjoy what we have in the glorious age of comic movies. Better is relative but while Nolan puts out amazing movies, Marvel is capitalizing on cross marketing like no other company in the history of movies. What other franchise can you name with so many spin-off successes? I can't think of one. All in the Family? This page has a virus on it. I just got a warning when I viewed it at work.
  3. I also agree that this would be better serialized as opposed to a one and done movie.
  4. Was just about to start a 100 Bullets thread & found this one. With it being one of the 9 (or was it 11) titles that Warner Bros has in development, you would think there would be some good discussion. I would have much preferred a TV series for the book, but hopefully a movie can be done to do it justice. I've always been surprised that there is so little talk about this series as it is by far my favorite modern series. Great characters, a storyline that always keeps you guessing & some of the nicest art ever. With a book that has so many notable characters & first appearances it's crazy that there is no investment discussion about the different Minute Men characters. Issue #1 is really the only book to have any value, but there are a ton of firsts throughout the first 50 issues that could all pop depending on who is focused on in the movie. I completely agree, that there is some good investment opportunities because of the multiple 1st appearances of major characters. Not everyone shows up #1.

  10. Interesting! I often use painters tape, or those white rectangular labels.
  11. Technically, I don't think these are second prints but fit within the general discussion. There are some Zero Hour covers that have the Zero Hour logo where the barcode usually is. They are not easy to find, in my experience. I was able to find a few over the weekend and the Tampa Con. Example:
  12. I really hope this story continues. I read the TPB and loved it.
  13. Is anyone going to try to go to the WD BBQ at SDCC? http://blogs.amctv.com/the-walking-dead/2014/07/heading-to-comic-con-tweet-to-eat-for-a-chance-to-gain-access-to-the-walking-dead-bbq-july-25-or-26/
  14. Flash Vol 2 41 and 44 have second printings. I have two JL Annual 5 second prints, if anyone one wants to trade for the Flash ones.
  15. Thanks for the great boardie deal on CGC boxes!
  16. Kirkman sure isn't making these new characters very likable. Think what Rick would do if he were in Manga's position. He would probably be doing the same thing - suspicious of everyone and everything until proven otherwise.
  17. Kirkman sure isn't making these new characters very likable. Objectively, their decisions have been over the top.
