  2. Umm, do you understand my comment, which was quoting a specific comment regarding MF 56, 57, 58, and 59, and not about...whatever it is you are trying to talk about?
  3. Impossible to find in HG. Census numbers are in the single digits total for all 9.8 and 9.6 copies, at least for 2 of the 4 covers the last time I looked.
  4. Because bloodshot was DOA and the former owner of valiant or whatever the company name is/was (doesn’t matter) that got fired from his own company told everyone to go buy Rai 0, then, Lemmings.
  5. You could destroy them to ensure they dont get into the slimey hands of whoever. Also: faking a signature and creating a COA? Really?
  6. Is anyone getting their HA auction wins from Mid-December? I paid with electronic payment for the book on 12/22, have not seen it yet. Sent an email on 1/13 and asked for tracking information, got a robo email back saying basically be patient. Anyone in this boat?
  7. ROTJ comic paperback is about the same as SW, thinner than ESB.
  8. Disagree with that. My theory is that there arent alot of slabbed magazines like MSS, Marvel Previews, etc. because there are so few nice (9.6/9.8) raw books out in the wild worth submission, hence low census numbers. Certainly popularity comes into play to a degree, but thats just a matter of educating your general collector that this stuff is out there. Look at these boards: There is one section for magazines, where you discuss, buy, and sell magazines, not sub sections. The rest is your standard comic book stuff.
  9. But, stimulus checks + tax refund checks...could be huge selling-wise.
  10. The GoCollect blog is pumping ASM 334-339 presently. Lemming-type movement buy/sell wise
  11. Respectfully, I don’t think skew is the right word, I mean all GPA does is collect sales data, and shows you that data in “raw” form (listed sales with dates and prices), then show it to you in context of trend (the 30 day, 90 day stuff), but I don’t necessarily think it is skewed, it is what it is, and I think it’s reliable. The problem might be down the road if we end up back on full convention and “let’s go out to eat” mode and we see prices go down in raw data form, but the 90-day data is still calculated within a period of time that the opposite is (was) occurring. That when I think the trend aspect of GPA is going to be as dependable as Charlie Day being the Wildcard on its Always Sunny. I certainly get your point, but for just straight raw sales data, to try to price some out to sell it or buy it, I think GPA is still reliable.
  12. What’s the joke you are trying to make here.
  13. Can we leave the word “Uber” out of this quixotic thread going forward?
  14. Searched for years for it with a buy the book not the grade mentality, but this was the exception, o can live with the off center spine in trade for the grade and white pages. 1 of 6. I knew we could find common ground. 2021 is the best.
  15. Thank you! One of the books I got while back when I thought I could put together a kick-a collection of high grade horror title stuff from the late 60s-early 70s. I was humbled quickly after I dove into it, financially and otherwise. But kept this guy, I knew I would never find it again, or in the grade again honestly.
