  1. Here here and well said. Can’t wait for this Con to be back on, especially that time of year in the Harbor. But, safety first (all the way around)
  2. I think a lot of that changes with the MCU horror phase. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not one of these folks where the only way a comic can be valuable if there is a movie about it, but A lot of the magazine stuff could come into play with Morbius, blade, etc. And frankly, given the condition that most of these magazines are in, there’s a “thrill of the hunt” aspect to finding some of these important 70s magazines in good shape. Marvel Preview #3 (1975), Obviously an early Blade appearance, but also features the first appearance of Jamal Afari, the vampire that trained Blade. Not developed in the Tomb of Dracula series, or the Snipes movies. If the new Blade movies at any point develop how Blade was raised and trained, and include Jamal, this is the book. Last I checked: 1 9.8, 9 9.6s. I just think these magazines are going to be on the radar’s of a lot more folks in the next 18 months or so, but they are already so hard to find in high grade, it might not be worth the effort at that point.
  3. The problem with MSS 16 and MSS 27 is that there are so few high grade copies out there. With #16, the census shows 11 9.8s and 65 9.6s. MSS #27 (Return of the Jedi Adaptation) shows even a tougher inventory: 10 9.8s and 20 9.6s. The late 70s and early 80s mags have certainly received more attention with the Marvel Horror aspect kicking in in the couple years, but the truth is these magazine are HTF in terms of condition: lots of color-breaking spine issues, and corner and edge ware, due to the size. On top of that, it seems harder to find these book with white page, instead of W/OW or straight up OW pages. I think its a matter of time before this stuff get attention due to the regular SW books becoming unattainable for most due to pricing.
  4. 42, 68, and 81 are all either right a grand or over based on the most recent ebay sales.
  5. And somehow, you accomplished both with starting that thread. 😂
  6. Talk about a thread that brought a knife to a gunfight 😂 My god what a mess.
  7. My god, this thread is mind numbing. Watching a 5 minute YouTube video on intellectual property will clear up the issue of CLink/GPA “is data public knowledge” issue, or even better, google “phone book data ownership Supreme Court;” I had no idea it was this complicated to people. aside from the CLink issue, and eBay, does GPA capture comicconnect, heritage, or other auction site data?
  8. What do you do with the other 100 long boxes of drek you poured money into between spinning hay into gold?
