  1. Loved both the story and the art in issue #5! Revival has done a wonderful job getting me invested in all the characters and subplots. I almost didn't notice that Dana only appeared on one page, which speaks volumes about the quality and depth of the storytelling and characters up to this point.
  2. Good article about the upcoming half-way point issue and the second half of the series.
  3. Wow I can't say that I've ever seen one that bad. It's still a Chew 1 and its not technically a defect. I would think that if someone had a choice between this one and a perfectly cut/ centered book they would probably choose the latter though. I remember following a near mint/raw miscut copy to see how much it would sell for and it ended up being about $100 less than a near mint/raw perfectly cut copy. Here's the completed auction. Unfortunately, I can barely stand a miswrap on a book so I think a miscut one like that in my collection would actually make me go insane.
  4. Nice sale, but it's missing 2nd, 3rd and 4th prints If I ever put together a Revival #1 collection to sell, I'll remember to include those
  5. Looks like the Revival #1 CGC 9.8 collection sold for $500
  6. I loved the first couple seasons of Heroes! But that was like a half decade ago I actually think it's pretty cool that an independent comic book might get featured on a major network television station. I'm sure NBC Studios is kicking themselves for letting The Walking Dead slip through their fingers, so hopefully they'll try extra hard to get it right this time.
  7. Over/under on how long it takes until the first eBay listing for Revival has NBC in the title?
  8. Stood in the front row at the San Francisco Giants World Series parade in the morning, aced an exam that I didn't study for in the afternoon, and picked up an unexpected Happy variant in my subscription box at a LCS in the evening. What a wonderful day
  9. Bravest Warriors got upgraded from a six part mini to a full ongoing.
  10. Can't wait to pick up my copy tonight!
  11. With all the hoopla surrounding the print run of the exclusive variant for Bedlam from NYCC, can anyone help me figure out the print runs for the exclusive Chew variants? Larry's #1: 1000 SDCC #12: 450 Image Expo #24: 500 SDCC Secret Agent Poyo: 700 Are those numbers correct? What was the print run for SDCC #19?
  12. What price do you think this variant will settle at? If I'm not mistaken, this is the first variant in the series (excluding second prints and store/convention exclusives).
  13. I think it's a 1:10 variant, so probably around 1100-1200.
  14. I mean are there ideal USPS boxes to order (for the box within box method) for more than 1 slab? The 1092 and 1095 boxes were a great tip for one slab as I've been using the medium flat rate box to ship 1 or 2 slabs in the past.
  15. Order free 1092 and 1095 Priority boxes from the USPS. Place the slab inside some packing material (bubble wrap of bubble pak), then put into the 1092. Put a little bit of bubble wrap in the bottom of the 1095 and drop the 1092 into it. Add a bit of bubble wrap at the top and seal up the 1095. The slab should not have any room to slide around. This should just be at or under 2 pounds. Avoids the flat rate fee and saves money shipping of one slab. If the recipient is close, the shipping gets cheaper. Thanks--will definitely try this! What's the best way to ship 2 or more slabs?
  16. Those two are badass covers and a couple of my favorites in the series.
  17. +1 I collect Chew because I love it and because I am hoping to get rich off of them only so I can buy more Chew!
