My guess in this regard is that it's scoring much higher then it ought to because it would be very unpopular to criticize a show with an almost entirely African American cast. We saw the backlash to the negative reviews of the all female Ghostbusters reviews. I mean nobody thinks this show is better than daredevil, but daredevil is only scored 86% currently.

Well I finished it. Wow, they go full potato in the end. Worst show I ever forced myself to sit through. In fact I've quit watching better shows.

I'm only on episode 8, but this show isn't great. I'd quit but I feel compelled to just finish it incase it has background info important to some future show.

Ghost Rider wasn't bad. They did an ok job with him. I haven't watched the show since season 1. There was tons of story I couldn't really follow. I still don't care for the show in general but I may watch it again to see what happens with GR. I do not prefer the car to a bike at all. Ghost "Driver" would be a more appropriate name. I don't mind the new person/character. Ghost Rider has possessed at least 3 other people so a new one doesn't bother me. I just don't prefer the car asthetic.

Not sure what you mean by "just those scans" normally how PGM threads are done is with 2 scans. If there was something "known" like a missing piece or coupon etc it would be mentioned. Thanks for the shot in the dark The scans are really dark, a little blurry, and not very high resolution. I don't know if I can see every crease, ding, dent, or flaw. The scans aren't great. That's what I mean by "just those scans". I thought it was obvious, sorry for not being clearer.

Hard to tell based on just those scans. I'll guess 3.0 or there about, but it feels like a shot in the dark to some degree.

Hey I've said or at least implied that the individual changes aren't the problem. It's the lack of respect and disregard for the source material that usually (but not always) ends up making a movie fail. When all you see are decisions to change things, at this early stage, how can you have faith in the filmmakers? They think they know better then the people that created this mythology, and we've seen over and over, that when film makers go down that road they're usually wrong. So you can say "what difference does it make if they change Shockers race", but I just see a string of decisions being made that aren't for the betterment of the story by people who think they know better, and I'm sure they in fact do not know better.

I don't need to see another MJ with pasty white skin. she's not the first thing I would think of when I think Mary Jane, but at least she's attractive, which is much much more than I can say for Kirsten Dunst (who I think is a fine actor). I think a more integral part of MJ is that she will be a MODEL as an adult, a very attractive woman paired with a Peter Parker nerd. The charm of that type of relationship is much more important to me than race. Couldn't get it with Dunst because she wasn't objectively hot. Also, for those who have a problem with MJ casting, do you have the same problem with Aunt May suddenly turning Italian? Making her Italian wasn't the best idea but you could over look it, however casting a still young and attractive Marissa Tomei as Peter's wheatcake making sweet old aunt is a big swing and a miss in my book.

The villain Shocker is getting diversified too apparently? I don't know, I mean it's not a big deal in itself, but when I see arbitrary decisions to change the mythology like this I can't help but think of Fantastic Four and wonder if there's an unending string of more bad decisions in this movie coming that we just haven't heard about yet. Something you said is interesting, "Maybe someone else doesn't care as much as I do...", that's the issue right there. When these film makers decide to deviate in big ways from the source material it strikes me as them not caring about and respecting the franchise. Maybe they hit a home run once in a while but I'll always be on the side of the debate that says it is better to honor what the original creators laid out.

The race switch worries me in that it seems to serve no purpose relevant to making the story better, and when you start seeing them make questionable decisions like that you have to expect that they're making a whole bunch more.
