  1. Mary Jane has officially been diversified. Thank god, just what the Spidey universe needed. http://comicbook.com/marvel/2016/08/18/zendayas-spider-man-homecoming-role-revealed/
  2. That's unacceptable. Return for refund and post seller so the rest of the community can avoid them please.
  3. looks fine in Civil War mostly, a lot of it has to do with lighting, angles, and CGI touch-ups. I'm not sure what story line will be told in the movie, but in reality, imagine the type of costume you would make if you were 15 years old, your parents died, you had super strength, and you were from NYC, and you were kinda poor (but not destitute). The above avg intelligence may help a bit, but not that much. It SHOULD look like a Halloween costume. I see your point but I'd offer the counter that the movie is based on a fantasy world where a kid has super spider powers and being as it's not grounded in reality anyway the suit should look better than a cheap Halloween costume.
  4. That suit looks like a cheap Halloween costume. I didn't see Civil War yet, did it look that bad in that movie too?
  5. Art is subjective, but maybe you didn't succeed because you aren't a very good artist, and no amount of education and training will fix that.
  6. I asked this in the mordern thread but no one had any comment. I've only read the first couple TPBs, and I avoided all the news about the show leading up to it, so some things caught me off guard. Mostly why'd they change Tulip so much? I'll add, that since I haven't read a lot of the source material, maybe Tulip eventually develops into a character that more resembles the character from in the TV show (in action not appearance obviously) and the TV show just decided to rush that? I don't know just going out on a limb? I just don't remember getting the impression from the comics that she was the crazy, blow mess up kick and take names sort of tough girl she was in the TV show.
  7. Howdy all - jut saw this thread and figured I'd jump in with some extra info: 1) At present we only collect eBay data 2) We have several years of eBay data, but show only the past 24 months by default. You can check the "All time" box on an individual comic's page to get at historic sales. 3) We now have a license to display CGC census data and are slowly integrating it into the site. You can find it under the appropriate tab on the individual comic pages. 4) As a free member you can unlock 5 comics' data per month. 5) We recently launched tool that's free for everyone to use that has been getting a lot of use which shows the most active comics in the marketplace: http://comics.gocollect.com/most-active 6) Here's a free one month coupon you can use to get full access: CGCBOARDS Anyone can feel free to get in touch with me directly at any time: jeff@gocollect.com Thanks for listening!
  8. I am afraid to ask what this is, it's probably blasphemy that I don't know but I honestly don't recognize it.
  9. That said, when Sasha is returned as a zombie with a bag over her head, she won't have Denise to bite... So I'm not ready to predict who that will be.
  10. Abraham gets Lucielled. They are building the Abraham/Sasha relationship and the Rick/Michone relationship, so as to have the same story that the comics had where Holly was mistaken for Andrea and taken by the saviors. If I recall correctly in the comics Holly gets taken because she sacrifices herself and gets captured, because she's PO'd about Abraham being shot with the crossbow. In the TV show Sasha will sacrifice herself and get captured because she's PO'd that Abraham got the bat. In the comics they took Holly because they thought it was Andrea, Ricks Woman. In the TV show they will mistake Sasha for Michone.
  11. My screenshot isn't the exact same moment, I couldn't pause it that precisely, you can tell that they are different by the arm position. So there's that reason that they aren't identical. Also you may be right, in that during post production, someone did basically color in that shadow to achieve the effect of seeing a silhouette over Negan. Or it could be nothing at all.
  12. That said I'm not sold on the idea that it's anything more then normal shadows and we're experiencing the "I see Jesus in my toast" sort of phenomenon.
  13. So here's the image that's been floating around, and then a screen shot of "almost" the same moment I took myself from the show. You can see that both images show the cowboy hat looking silhouette, my guess is the top one had the levels/contrast tweaked to make it show up more.
  14. I said Abraham was getting it since Denise got his death scene, seemed to me they were saving Abraham for Lucille.
  15. So when S7E01 comes out are they going to get straight to the point or are are they going to dickdance around this and tell the Morgan/Carol story for an episode or two before getting to the resolution? We've seen that sort of thing already with the dumpster fiasco.
  16. What no Heroes on that list? That was the king of cliff hangers, every single episode on the first 2 seasons ended with a WTF moment.
  17. The episode, and mostly the ending, let me down. Like I said I felt that Negan's portrayal was Negan LITE. Not enough bravado, not at all the larger than life intimidating character that we saw from the comics. The actor wasn't terrible, but the wow factor fell way short. Also the reason issue #100 was so magnificent is because of the emotional response it drew. I remember saying "I'll never read this comic again" after that comic ended. The show, nothing... Just a weak sauce cliff hanger. It wasn't the worst episode ever, but it should have been THE BEST and it was certainly not that.
  18. Missed the swearing. And the jacket made him look oddly skinny. Yeah he was also somewhat small, he wasn't a very imposing figure, not in the same way as the character in the comics is.
  19. Am I the only one that felt like Jeffrey Dean Morgan's portrayal of the character was Negan LITE? It felt like a lot was missing, and not just the vulgarity. For me Negan has much more bravado, self importance, and an overwhelming air of confidence that just didn't show though for me.
  20. I didn't think that Morgan's portrayal of Negan was very good.
  21. As bad as that carving is, I bet I couldn't do better I have no artistic ability when it comes to stuff like that.
  22. In last nights episode Carl goes to the armory and picks up a pistol that had a bat and barbwire carved into the wood grips, foreshadowing the upcoming appearance of Negan. I noticed the carving and that the gun was a 1911 but didn't pick up on the exact model until seeing a screen capture posted online today. Turns out it's the same Springfield Armory TRP 1911 that I own. Maybe I should buy some cheap wood grips and make an homage.
