  1. The more he keeps alive the better. Out of the original cast up to Woodbury there is only a handful left. I don't think there could be any sort of forced alliance if another one of them fell. Then it would be last faction standing.

This is right what I was thinking earlier Garf.

So who I think is left from the OG group, I guess we call them "The Survivors" are:

    Rick

    Carl

    Andrea

    Michonne

    Maggie

    Sophia

    6 people right?

    Did I miss anyone?

  2. Yep that's what I said. That page says a lot

Shame it was a good choice... Kirkman doesn't often link back to previous events like that. It would be good if he did plant more seeds in his story that could be used like this.

Agreed. Think it's safe to say Rick and Andrea are long term now.

By 'long term' do you mean 5 more issues when one (or both) of them die at the end of AOW?

    :grin::grin::grin:

  3. How will we ever go back to one issue per month??!

I was thinking more along the lines of how are we ever going to go back to Charlie inks. Charlie's pencils are great but man Gaudiano inks are amazing. Especially when you look at some of the pre 115 OA pages over on splashpage.

lol that's true too. I think I read somewhere that they were considering keeping Gaudiano on the title for a while..

  4. I don't know what to make of the AOW storyline...I mean I can't wait for the next issue and enjoy it, but on the other hand it seems to be going around in circles a bit and when I finish an issue I feel like not enough happened. I was ok in the beginning but this slight irritation is getting worse....Anyone else share this view?

I don't know.. I am enjoying the arc and I'm a huge WD fan-boy, so it would have to get pretty bad for me to not enjoy the book anymore..

That being said, I do agree that the issues almost seem shorter or something. I think I would enjoy it less if this arc wasn't bi-weekly.

  5. I can't see Negan kneeling down begging in front of Maggie somehow... or Rick for that matter. Maybe someone a bit leftfield - Sherri?

Also it would be way too neat and tidy a conclusion to have Maggie kill him with Lucille imo.

Yes exactly, it would be to cliche.

Why? Sure it would be a neat fit ... but hasn't Maggie's revenge been a long time coming, she has been pretty much denied direct revenge on everyone (e.g. the Governor, Thomas Richards) and everything that has killed off her family for the past 9.5 years. I'd say it's been a long time coming!

Also in the context of the TV show I can't see anyone who kills Glenn being taken out by anyone else. Honestly I don't think Kirkman could avoid being influenced a little by this.

Holly didn't get to avenge Abe.. will Maggie get to avenge Glenn?

I actually think she will.. Though it may be cliché, it's the resolution we all really want

Speak for yourself. I actually like Negan as an antagonist, and I think it would be better for the book to have one of the "bad guys" involved longer term rather than a rinse and repeat. There's no reason that he HAS to be killed at the end of this arc (for story purposes I mean - obviously as far as Rick's group are concerned he has to die).

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the Negan character and I want to see him stick around. However, I'm pretty sure Kirkman said that he will die, and if there is any one that deserves to kill him, it's Maggie

  7. Based on this morning's 'news'.. what do you think will happen to the Superior Spider-Man 20 JSC Variant? Cooling waaay off?

I doubt the news will affect this particular book. A Black Cat drawn JSC cover will likely hold its value:p

I hope so.. I don't want to sell mine just yet!

    What is "this morning's 'news'?"
