  1. I notice that eBay shows sold at $375 and doesn’t reflect what I actually paid, my offer of $400 was accepted and came to $454 with shipping and tax.
  2. I didn’t mention it at the time, but I had no idea that Billy Graham worked at such large scale on his stories. This measures a whopping 21” x 28” !
  3. I did buy some items from Vault auctions. I’ve got a raw 2 that’s nicer, but I am apparently a hoarder of cool stuff. The 3 and four seem to be much tougher in high grade than the 1 and 2.
  4. It may or may not be better than my raw copy, but I had to take the chance given the rare opportunity.
  5. I picked up the UK Vampirella 2 on ComicLink recently. However, the odds are high that you’ve sold me magazines at some point.
  6. Paid a premium price, but oh so difficult to find nice.
  7. While I typically get far more raw magazines weekly, I’m too lazy to scan them. Here are a few graded additions for the week.
  8. In true Warren twist fashion, perhaps whoever holds the card from Enric has his artistic talent. I’ve seen weaker concepts.
  9. There’s a dinosaur on there? I can never get past Frank’s women.
  10. While I only procured these today and won’t receive them until next week, I had to share. I have several Enric paintings, and this will be a decent addition at it’s large 28” x 40 size, almost more exciting is Enric is giving up his personal Vampirella fan club card along with it to benefit charity. I can’t believe I will have this!
  11. Just received this Billy Graham original art page from Eerie 28. Fun page!
  12. Update to my top ten wants, now a lucky 13 Blazing Combat 1 9.4+, Anthology 9.4+ Creepy 2 9.4+, 5 9.6+,13 9.6+, 18 9.6+, 53 9.6+, 64 9.6+, 66 9.6+ Eerie 3 9.6+, 8 9.4+, 18 9.6+, 74 9.6+ Purchase is great, or I do have some quite lovely trade items.
  13. That was a fantastic buy at the price. Typically that would fetch $500-1000 if in a dealer’s inventory. Congratulations, it’s a tough one.
  14. Empire of Monsters is more of a biography of James Warren, although somewhat skewed as you get into the publishing years. I have all of the books mentioned, and each of them has different things to offer. They’re all fantastic in their own right.
  15. I have one, and I know that several others around here do as well. It’s a fantastic reference book, but wow, $1000 starting bid? Yes, it’s relatively rare, but published at $40 shipped. As much as I like it, I could never justify that much for it.
  16. $37k was pretty outrageous in my opinion. Seems like many things have returned to pre-pandemic levels.
  17. Very shocking. Undeniably talented, and to my understanding, a good guy. He was just here on tour a few months ago, and sorry that I didn’t see him (he was with Depp, which lessened my enthusiasm). Of the three greats so closely tied together, Beck, Clapton and Page, we still have two, and I hope I get a chance to see them again.
  18. Savage Tales 1 9.8 took a major drop from that record sale of $37,200 a short 15 months ago.
  19. I don’t know why this magazine is so difficult in grade, but congratulations on a lovely copy.
  20. A couple of additions. While I had another version of the Sgt. Pepper’s Super Special, I didn’t have this French softcover.
