+1 and it's been a long time where a book has me ready for the next issue. Revival
-
If it wasn't for you guys I would've missed out on this entire series. The people I've met on here have just been great!! I really hope that Revival goes beyond 60 issues.

So only the Phantom variants?
-
-
$265.60 is their asking price for a newsstand edition in VF..Sucker born every second..
-
Excerpt from Bleeding Cool...UPDATE: Last night, Mile High Comics were selling Spawn #9 in NM for $2.30. Their price today? $70.
-
No problem with the Retailer Summit but Forgotten Planet is the first store variant so who is next or what is next? Phantom?
-
And didn't the variant come out after preorders were done? To me, announcing no planning on any variants caused a lot of people to believe that and ordered more than what they would've had there been a variant at that time. I'm sure Hickman isn't that type of person but sure is a way to boost sales for an upcoming book.

Remember when... NO VARIANTS PLANNED

he mentioned legacy numbering in this thread....so 1-5, 6-10, etc......This whole stigma about Minis has got to stop.
That's the term I was looking for.."legacy numbering". Can you imagine if more publishers went to legacy numbering? It could help sales of mini-series, even though it doesn't seem this book needs much help!!

It's a mini right? 5 issues?
I saw it on the stands and saw the "1 of 5" thing and immediately skipped over it.
Most mini's = trades in my life.
If they want to make it ongoing, I would like to see them continue with the mini instead of starting a new number 1.
NO!
That would mean I skipped over an ONGOING #1!
You do realize that Frank Barbiere posts on here and he said while it's still in the works of being an ongoing it's going past issue 5...
Clearly I did not realize that.
Now go get a copy!!

That would be cool if they did. It would be nice to see that happen instead of starting a new #1. Basically, awards those of us that supported the book from the beginning.

EXACTLY!! Speculators will be all over the ongoing #1 but if the publishers would just continue the series from the min then everyone who didn't purchase would be scrambling!!

Cover for #8 (maybe)
Thanks Ryan!! I was trying to post this Saturday but I kept clicking the "Create a Link to a Webpage" instead and I've been gone to a baseball tournament since.

Just great!! Another title to pick up!!

That was an early comp--here is how the final logo appears.
That one looks much better than the one previously posted. (thumbs u

You guys have enough shops, Us folks here in the south have to have something. It's a pretty cool store concept. Think Barnes & Noble but now with a video game section, dvds, blu rays, and of course a comic book section.
