  7. Decades later that same graphic would become a teaser preview for board sales thread.
  8. While trimming isn't restoration in the traditional sense, I have no problem with it being lumped in as it is either done to "improve" the appearance of a book (the goal of most restoration), or in some cases to give a uniform edge in a bound volume. I think tape and glue should be treated the same, whether you want to call them restoration, conservation, or just make note of them.
  9. Pretty ragged, but the best part of the cover is still there. Well worth the $20.

  19. It looks structurally sound with decent PQ, but the general light wear and dirt along with multiple creases caps this around a 4.0 for me. Potentially improvable with a dry clean and press.
  20. While I can see why the board opinions came in a bit lower than CGC on a couple of the other books posted, this one looks pretty much a textbook 5.0 to me. I'm not sure where the 3.5s were coming from.
  21. Technically a .5, as clipped art effects readability, but could be called a Qualified 2.0. A decent candidate for marrying the wrap from a coverless copy. It would still be a Q 2.0, but at least a complete book.
