  2. I wasn't really aware myself...I think Spider-Gwen has a following and that it is a super low print run (apparently) with some new content, but I don't pretend to understand ALL the intricacies of the modern collector!
  3. Thanks and for sure...If I am able to sell them 😉! I'm quite happy with the past few little deals for sure. ...Sometimes little deals are the best low bulk, decent returns!

NOTE: I have TWO copies for sale. One on eBay and one here. They are different Certification Numbers and offering my "Copy A" here for cheaper, so mods, please note, not selling the same copy in two places.

  9. These just in... The Zenescope book is limited to 250 and has a double cover that they did not note on label so it is going back. Happy with the two Clone Wars...
  10. Hello, I recently acquired a nice run of Stars Wars Knights of the Old Republic and Legacy. I noticed though on both issues of Knights of the Old Republic #6 that there is a direct sales sticker on the UPC area. I have noticed a few of these on eBay as well. I'm assuming this something that maybe Diamond did for some reason? Any impact on grade/value if done at the distributor level? I'm more curious than anything so any information on why some of these books seem to have the sticker would be appreciated.
  11. Buying Update: Buying wise, 2020 is proving to be a very good year! To date I have: bought a UF #4, 1st Miles Morales Voldemort 9.8 and flipped for a VERY nice profit, bought a very nice SPAWN collection and sold 1/3 of the collection so far (lots of low print run books) for a very nice profit, bought a small Star Wars Clone Wars lot that had two copies of 1st Ahsoka Tango (both are currently with CGC), bought a nice original owner Golden Age collection with lots of Canadian Editions, mostly Western, War and early Classics and Dell painted covers that I am still processing, and I just bought a near complete set of Star Wars Legacy and Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic. A few doubles of some. A very tight short box worth of Dark Horse SW comics! Now I need to find a nice SA haul of DC and Marvel 1st appearances...Dare to dream... Star Wars: Legacy Vol.1 Dark Horse 0.5 x2 1 1st print 4 5x2 6x2 8x2 9x2 10 11x2 12x2 13x2 14x2 15x2 16 17x2 18x2 19x2 20x2 25x2 26x2 28x2 29x2 30x2 31x2 34x2 36x2 37 40x2 41x2 43x2 46x3 47 48x2 49x2 50x4 Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Vol.1 Dark Horse 5 6x2 (1st Appearance of Haazen - Cameo of Rohlan Dyre) 9x2 ( 1st Appearance of Darth Revan) 10x2 11 13x2 14x2 15x2 16x2 17x2 18x2 19x2 20x2 21x2 22x2 (1st Appearance of Mission Vao) 24x2 25x2 (1st Appearance of Celeste Morne) 30x2 31x2 (1st Appearance of Malak) 33x2 34x2 35x2 36x2 39x2 45x2 46x2 47x2 48x2 (1st Appearance Dmagol) 49x2 50x2 Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Handbook 1x2 Now my task is to go through and see if there are any other modern SW keys from here that are picking up steam. If anyone has some insight, would appreciate it. Note: The two copies of KOTOR #9 and Star Wars Legacy #1 will be going to CGC. Sample pics from collection:
  12. Apparently my books are now done with CCS...Huzzah! Will post scans when they arrive.
  13. Finally got a scan of the ASM #9 and added this guy recently too, ASM #365...I had a raw 9.2 copy but wanted a nice graded copy. Was a Canadian buy, so cheap shipping, etc. Not interested in the whole news stand thing or at least, I'm not paying more for them, but that is just me.
  14. If you want to get into buying silver age keys, unless you really trust the seller and/or are experienced enough to know what to look for, I would spend the extra money on graded. I can see @Robot Man point with regards to raw as it seems the only way to actually see the content of some of those GA books is to actually read them. I am trying to complete the ASM run. I need something like 20 books but all of those will be graded (Lee/Ditkof books) with big goal being an AF #15, but the "beauty" is that there are so many reprints, Omnibus, trades, etc. that you can still easily read the stories, unlike say, some of GA books where being able to read the content is not as easy to find and plus those GA books probably have some cool ads and such too. Also, you mentioned being on a budget (aren't we all but some more than others), so I would say pick a graded key and save and focus on that. Get it. Then repeat. It is so easy to lose focus with so much cool material and thats what happened to me when I got back into the hobby until I decided to go for broke and complete the ASM run. Since then so glad I did. Every time I can check off the book and get closer to my goal, super satisfying. Bottom line, whether buying raw or graded, you can't collect "wrong" if you are buying what you actually like/love. Also thank you @Arkham for the kind words!
  15. Bought some sets and a few other things from Jeff's sales thread. Awesome guy, awesome seller. Books were packaged to withstand a nuclear blast. Buy and sell with confidence!
  16. Ok, Frustrated. That one CSR did nothing, apparently. I emailed this week and found out that, for whatever reason my CCS Fast Track sub was not placed in the Fast Track stream so had been SITTING there with CCS. Sigh. I use CCS maybe once a year...This may change that considering the TAT. Lots of different options. Books were sitting since July 27, 2020. Now still have to be pressed and graded and shipped. I should have had them all back by now...
  17. Thanks! I just realized how horrible those pics are. I have been working on bagging and boarding them and grading with notes. A lot of Canadian Editions and I need to say that most of these are low to mid grade and would have been lost had I not rescued them. I already unloaded, in bulk, 70 low grade later year/HRNS and beat up Classic Illustrated from the collection on Kijiji. I sold them less than 12 hours from posting. I still have a bunch of assorted early Dells (painted covers) and westerns. Once I finish bagging and boarding will try to put together better pics of the good stuff.
  18. I have been waiting for a recent CCS/CGC submission status to change, fast tracked and nothing so I emailed as it has been a few weeks out. I was told by a CSR that they will forward my information to their "loopers" to try to get my invoice out. Are they being funny? Going to travel back in time to speed things up?
  19. In his latest video (don't know how to embed) "When Life hands you lemons" he says that Comic Connect bought the collection but there was a big shipping snafu with the trucking company... Personally, I would have been ON SITE the day of pick up to make sure it went smoothly for a deal of that magnitude...
  20. Looking for opinions on this Marvel Spotlight #32. Very nice interiors. Book is complete. Thanks!
