  1. It's a good book, Holiday. A friend and I were talking yesterday and we came to the conclusion it ended so low because of the Ottley sig. He may be the lead artist on the series but isn't really attached to that issue. Don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful book and I think you got a smoking deal on it. Prob why there wasn't so much heat and fever for it. Congrats again!
  2. I've been on an OA shopping spree like that before. It's invigorating! Congrats!
  3. dude. talk about crazy. a 9.8 #1 with Kirkman and Ottley sigs just sold for under $500. maybe people aren't crazy about the gold labels, but, damn.
  4. Yeah, read that article earlier today. It's nice to see Cory so enthusiastic about helming such an important arc. Hopefully he slips right back into the mix of it!
  5. Are we sure that's the news? If it is, that's kind of disappointing. Well, I have a good source that confirmed that is indeed the news.
  6. Hey, I'm curious what y'all think about the big news being that Cory is coming back for an arc. I was hoping for a show/film development announcement, but, Cory coming back is good too, although, I'm pretty sure that means no OA.
  7. Walking Dead, Outcast, and Invincible have all been pretty regularly released. Can't say I like the Saga breaks, but, whatever. Honestly, I think it's the incorporation of the Outcast show that brought on the schedule change. I don't think Kirkman has been writing the scripts forTWD, I just think overseeing everything is taking its toll. The money that Invincible is bringing in compared to TWD powerhouse franchise is probably completely insignificant to Kirkman. EDIT: I do have to reiterate how much I would love a properly done Invincible show/film
  8. Well, last I heard, Kirkman wanted to make Invincible like a GOT series. I'd be way cool with that, but, that's gonna take a lot of work. I just feel like Kirkman doesn't have the time. Maybe this hiatus is really pre-production for that?
  9. It might be as banal as a McFarlane toy line or it could be ... I don't want to jinx myself. Let's hope for the best! He doesn't tend to throw lines like that out there in letters columns unless he's serious. McFarlane toy line would be awesome! Way I see it is they had to say something to keep people interested to come back in 1/3 of a year. The further we get into the life of Invincible, less and less I see any type of film/show becoming a reality. I guess I'll be ok with that.......eventually.
  10. hooray! new issue today and the arc ended how i wanted………sort of. cannot wait until the new issue hits in April!
  11. I love how the show has only progressed a few days in real time so far this season.
  12. That's way cool! Love how they'll work the crossbow into the comics from the show. So backwards I love it!
  13. Haha! There's one Omni-Man that looks way Larsen-y. Love it!
  14. Ok, so, Invincible 1st appearance is Tech Jacket #1. Next. EDIT: absolutely thought 125 looked brilliant, fantastic work by Ryan as usual. I am still a bit skeptical as to the relevance of this arc and what it holds for our hero once he (or his conscience) returns (assuming he returns) to his own time. Issue 127 can't get here soon enough.
  15. It's definitely an ultrasound. Not sure it counts as a birth. Don't you think that's kinda the same thing as the previews in the back of the issues listed? If you ask me, his first cameo appearance is Noble Causes (not just because I have the OA). First full appearance would be issue #1. I don't count the previews.
  16. When was Invincible solicited? That Previews would be 1st appearance.
  17. I think I'm missing a second print of something for my run. No idea which it is.
  18. I enjoy reading Chew and Morning Glories, they're good. Why is it that Invincible doesn't bring in larger #'s? Sells out each week at my LCS. I wonder where Invincible falls on the production run list each month for Image, maybe 4th or 5th?
  19. Maybe Glenn lives, we meet Negan in mid season finale, and Glenn meets Lucille in finale. He may not be dead now, but, it's coming. If he died it'd be one of those hooks that would never be solved in the universe. Nobody could account for his absence or what happened to him. For a show that cares about its followers, that's a move. We need closure.
