Naw, man. Game over like retire from the Invincible game. Im about to do some crazy stuff with the other commissions, but, OA is for keeps. There are still maybe a half dozen pages out there somewhere that I want, but, I've completely exhausted all my resources, no idea where they are.

Not sure why, but, I bought a bunch of keys for $2-$4 each yesterday. Not $1 scores, but, close enough. Couple 9.8 candidates too. Was surprised to see 3 boxes of Valiant at the shop.

man, peeps at my shop buy stacks of books, every week. kid you not, two hands to hold the stacks of big 2 and indy . you'd think they'd have a greater appreciation for such a great book. the most intelligent conversation i had regarding the book and its direction was with the salesman, a homie. he keeps asking wheres the action and violence that the book is known for. to that question, i have no answer.

Oh, same discussion as last month. Keep trying to justify the slower issues to unwilling ears.

badass, you wrote an invincible film? i wrote scripts for 2 of 3 invincible films awhile back. the first could've been done for under $100m, i would think. i made it 3/4 the way through the second -script, then started on my own thing. have been doing that since. i had a letter in issue #98 published where i mentioned it.

i would hope they would stay as close to the material as possible. i think it definitely should have as much blood and gore as possible. anything less would be a disservice to the original material. will they tone it down? almost definitely, primarily for the reason listed above, more people will go. i really am glad about this deal. i can't picture any other studio besides Disney that id want to distribute and finance any Skybound properties. i hope no Witch Doctor, but, the occult stuff is way popular these days. bring back SD!

Well, if TWD and Outcast are already being done without Universal, what's that leave? Skybound doesn't really have THAT many properties. I'd have to think Invincible is at the top of a short list. I'm shocked there isn't more discussion in here regarding this announcement and the possibilities it brings. You guys. Props to Mike, my man!

Yup, you said it. I was pretty much told this isn't going to happen. Invincible is now Kirkmans #3. Got another 4 seasons of TWD at least, who knows with Outcast, then maybe an Invincible something. Don't hold your breath.
